Their food is nice with excellent customer service.The guest rooms are very clean and well organized,with everything you need.

Always a good choice, if you like it quiet, safe and clean. Breakfast could be better, more versatile (fruits, fresh coffee ...).

Dishes had mould...the cooker fridge and microwave were rusty with brown stuff all over...the place was not cleaned well.dusty seats and dirt under the seats and beside the cooker....the blankets provided were damp ..alot of siafu in tje kitchen.....Good property but can definitely do better! Requires simple thorough cleaning every so often....!

This hotel is very well located on the Main Street and it has a lot of security. Staff is super nice and attentive. It is a bit outdated but the rooms are huge and the price is quite cheap. Never figured out the AC in the room but the fan worked great if you take off the mosquito net. Hot water worked sometimes and the internet is in the common areas but I have Cel data so that was not a problem, in general it was a great stay - especially since my friends stayed at the dhow hotel and got robbed in the room.

This is my second time staying. I really enjoy the place. Its very peaceful and the staff is excellent. Please see my list of pros and cons: Pros: Great price, you get a kitchen , bedroom, livingroom, bathroom and large balcony. The staff is excellent. It's peaceful. The pool is wonderful. Breakfast buffet is ok with a good variety. I didnt eat lunch or dinner there. Cons: Internet doesnt really work in the rooms. You have to go to the lobby or poolside. Both times i stayed the air conditioning wasnt working in the room and i ended up having to move to another room. I had been traveling all day and already unpacked so it was an issue. Also there is only one air conditioner in the bedroom so the rest of the rooms stay very hot. There tend to be aot of monkeys and flies when eating.

It was worth the money. Staff were very friendly and it was convenient to get round Diani.

Stayed in Morning Star Resort Diani for 3 nights and I was impressed. Their rooms are have very modern fittings, very spacious, clean white sheets and towels. The place is quiet and with a very serene environment topped up with some monkeys swinging from the trees. I love their swimming pool; it is clean, beautiful and big enough. Lastly, the resort has a team of warm and welcoming staff who were always present and ready to help. I really loved this place and I will definitely come back.

Located about 200 meters from the beach front this family friendly resort offers everything from Bar, Restaurant, Pool etc. We were looking for a place to stay for five weeks and booked an apar**ent with kitchen plus breakfast at the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome, fresh fruit and passion juice are a must when you are here, eggs any style you want and pancakes are highlights to get your day of for a great start. with our own kitchen we did a lot of home cooking as vegetables and fruits can be bought at many small stands close to the resort. There are two supermarkets, a local one and a frech chain store that allow you to buy anything you may need. Just next to the resort is a Indian store that sells beers by the crate and is much cheaper than the supermarkets as long as you take the empties back. A couple of nights we ate at the restaurant and very much enjoyed the seafood pasta, BBQ chicken, Shrimp Avocado Salat, to name a few, all was exceptional, bravo to the kitchen staff. Housekeeping is awesome and the security staff at the gate are very nice, this in fact is true for the entire staff at the Diani Morning Star. A giant pool located in the middle of the resort is surrounded by old palm trees and big old massive leaf trees, forgot the name but they spend shade in the heat. We stayed five weeks and time flew by, but we will be back in just a short while. Asante Sana Team Morning Start for a memorable stay in Diani - we love you.
