Прекрасный персонал, который встретил нас и позаботился о том, чтобы у нас было все необходимое. Отдельные комплименты шеф-повару за вкусную еду. Уютные, чистые и ухоженные номера. Единственное, что можно улучшить, — это пополнять запасы на завтраке. Спасибо за вашу доброту 😊

Думаю, это внутри кампуса, так что это довольно удобно. Хотя здесь не очень звукоизоляция, потому что мы очень отчетливо слышим людей, разговаривающих за окном или в коридоре. В целом отель хороший, персонал приятный!

С того момента, как мы прибыли на прием, я почувствовал очень позитивную атмосферу, поскольку прием был дружелюбным, но вовсе не ложно «отрепетированным». Наш номер был просторным и очень хорошо оборудованным, с качественными удобствами для приготовления чая и кофе. Завтрак был великолепен, с огромным выбором типично шотландских и континентальных блюд. Однажды вечером мы отлично поужинали в ресторане отеля. Весь обслуживающий персонал был эффективным и дружелюбным; некоторые из них, студенты университета, рады поделиться своим энтузиазмом. Мы припарковались в отеле бесплатно, а затем менее чем за 15 минут дошли до центра города.

Location in walkable distance from Royal Mile and very close to Arthur's seat trails (think fresh air and stunning 360 views over Edinburgh and surrounding area).The staff were just so incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating, wanting to make the stay a fantastic one.Clean.Good smell and great ambient music in public areas. Mattresses and pillows were super comfy.Aesthetic, relaxing and provocative artwork. Loved their sustainability plan. I had not realised before arrival that the stay includes complementary access to a full blown gym and fitness centre, albeit down the road.Brilliant! Loved the small but good food choices available and the delivery was true to their photos, brasserie area or otherwise;no tray charge if you want to stay in the room! Will be coming back for sure, thank you, The. Scholar! (Tried both Single, and also Deluxe Double(King bed).Both great and king adds extra if twosome!

We visited Edinburgh for New Years and stayed for four nights leading up to it - the hotel was beautiful and cozy and the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay really special! There were so many nice little thoughtful touches throughout our time here. It was very easy to get to the city from here - and also very close and easy to hike Arthurs Seat. We would happily return here again, it was really lovely.

Room is spacious, the heater works well!

Spacious and clean rooms. Having access to the gym facilities of the University of Edinburgh was a plus!

Good hotel with some room for improvement. Hotel meal just ok and didn’t have the wine we ordered from the menu. Breakfast ok, beans cold also had to ask for bacon which need to be replenished, and also Greek yogurt need to be replenished, otherwise ok.

Nice beds and clean bathroom，kind reception services and cookies. A great experience in this hotel.

Very good place for a short stay at Edinburgh for conferences. Easy to check-in and check-out. Happy with the housekeeping service and the facilities. The breakfast was also good, but the staff members kept interrupting us by taking away the plates that we were still using - my colleagues were apparently annoyed and didn't enjoy the food as they expected.

We booked this last minute and so glad they have availability because a previous booking had pet restrictions. It's a little off the city centre but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel and several buses (#14, 30 & 33) can take you there in about 20 minutes. Room is very spacious and because we have a dog, they upgraded us to the family room on the ground floor and paid an extra £30 for deep cleaning the room upon checkout. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Love the toiletries because it's in big, refillable bottles; they have a coffee machine (like Nespresso) but sadly it wasn't working. They do have instant coffee and tea options which were great. The room gets too warm sometimes but easy to turn off the heater... Better warm than a freezing room. 😉 Palace of Holyrood is a 30-minute walk from The Scholar. Then from there, you can take Bus#35 to take you back to the hotel.

Great location, clean and tidy hotel. Service was also friendly and efficient.
