23 Boutique Hotel

This wonderful small hotel is very convenient to Valletta. Located in the adjacent neighbourhood of Floriana, it's about a 10 minute walk to Valletta. The area is not very busy, but there is some traffic noise, but way less noise and crowds than Valletta. Close to bus stops and there is a convenience store around the corner. The hotel is in an older building which has been expertly modernised and decorated. Our room, number 11, was very large and the bathroom huge, with both a tub and a separate shower. Very clean and comfortable and very efficient AC. Friendly owner and staff. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Malta.

Beautiful hotel (B&B mode) made out of renovated old mansion in Floriana, at the gates of Valletta, whose center is an easy 10-minute walk (Mia will show you the shortest route). Very close to the Valletta Waterfront (5 minutes). Great base to be able to be close to Valletta but at the same time to explore the rest of Malta with your own car (we came in February, so low season, with less traffic and had no difficulty). Breakfast on request, at least 3 days in advance, plentiful and quality, is served in a cozy middle floor (equipped with AC/heat pump); alternatively literally across the street is an excellent Sicilian Cafeteria. I very much appreciated the presence of a rented portable smartphone charging service (Powready) for autonomous/self-service disposition of customers, very practical and useful. I had never seen it before. Mia, very kind, waited for us even though we were a little late due to plane delay but there is the possibility of self check in. Spacious, quiet and bright rooms. Tastefully furnished and matching the Booking photos. We had the room with with the balcony (gallerija) which I loved. Very comfortable beds. Super the smart TV with the possibility to connect your smartphone. During our stay we had some problems with the heating but it was solved promptly. Parking tip: it is always free on the street in front of the hotel (Triq Il-Kapuccini), only right side of the street, and right side of the street of the Sicilian cafeteria. Otherwise it is free during the night hours and in the morning you need to put discorario from 8 (validity 150 min, so in the evening you can put it until 10:30 then it has to be changed or the car has to be moved).

Excellent place to stay. Staffs are kind and supportive. It must be a wonderful memory stay in Malta.

23 BOUTIQUE - BEST HOTEL. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. My experience in Malta was great, but wouldn't have been the same otherwise. It's in a great area, corner shops nearby, and easy to walk into the main areas. Ryan was our host, always greeting us with such warm smiles. I cannot say how amazing he is. We arrived, and he had a map for us, recommendations for food and activities, and offered us late check out because of the return flight's afternoon time. He was an absolute star, and was always happy to chat. Highly recommend a room with a balcony! It's beautiful. New rooms have been added in August too, and the hotel is just perfect.

Located about 10 minutes walk from the ferry boat harbour, the bus station and the city center, Boutique 23 is in a tastefully remodeled traditional Maltese house. Ryan, the owner, is an exceptional host; he knows his Malta and wants to share it with his guests. His recommendations saved us time and money and made our stay in Malta the most enjoyable.

Beautiful, newly renovated hotel. Spacious, especially the bathroom, well located and quiet. Really nicely done.

What an amazing place to stay, Ryan & Mia were perfect, and the room was amazing. It is close enough to walk into Valetta and theynprovided handy little maps. The booklet theybprovided as information about Malta was very detailed and very helpful. Big thanks to them and we will definitely be back.

Cosy and well located 10 minutes walk to Valletta. A traditional solid house on a side street, converted tastefully in a modern idiom The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Best thing about the place is the charming couple running it, extremely helpful, dispensing good advice and genuinely caring about our comfort. Overall a pleasant experience

The hotel was really sweet. My room was on the ground floor. It was clean and comfortable. Everything you need was provided in the room. There were speakers on the ceiling in the toilet and the shower area, connected to the tv, this was very well invested which you would not even see in most 5 stars hotels. The only downside of my room was there was no window, daylight and the humidity in the room, which they have dehumidifier and purifier in the room for. It was not too bad though, specially if you are out all day and only come in to sleep and staying only for one-two days. Ryan and Mia are both so nice, kind and professional people. They really made me feel I'm home and in safe hands. I would definitely advise this boutique hotel to anyone with eyes closed. Thank you Ryan and Mia once again.
