Cumberland Court Motel

Nice layout for 3 adults 1st Nite, then decided to stayover an extra, with the motel nearly full the Front Desk Guy was able to find us 2 rooms 1 double 1 single both rooms complete with spa baths!! Loved our Stay Highly Recommend!!! My 1st time visit to Hastings, actually had an important kaupapa at Te Aute College SH2 Otane!!! Really helped make our Trip Truly Memorable!!! Thanks so Much x! Homeward bound 6am!

The property is located at the intersection of two main roadways, so it is very accessible to everything in town. The bed was very comfy. The room has a kitchenette, but many of the items in it were in average condition. The microwave turntable was missing, and we washed the flatware and dinnerware we used before we used it-- it didn't look like it had been properly washed in the past. But overall the room was good, very spacious.

Fridge leaking bathroom was dirty found hair clips under things that werent ours needed to put extra towels in family room four beds four towels really lucky took my own for my moko i did not ask for extras thou i thought they would just put in wevactually paid enough i thought two nights seven hundred and only two adults one child under two

****PHOTOS DO NOT LIE**** CUSTOMERS BE WARNED FOR YOUR HEALTH’S SAKE!! We were a family of 6 adults & 6 month old baby: We have family in Hastings and therefore return to visit frequently. Three rooms were booked for 5 nights 13 Jan to 18 Jan 2023. 1 star is excessive as they deserve negative stars. All three rooms were described as follows: 1. Musky, dirty smell. The linen was not white but off white. First time I’ve experienced this. 2. The Linen was soiled, stained, mascara, blood, black mould. Arrrgh!!! 3. The cleaners remade the beds daily, however did not vacuum or clean the bathrooms, had other peoples toilet stains. 4. Broken chains in the roller blinds and what was not broken was not secured. 5. No extraction in the bathrooms, even with the window wide open which prevented any privacy, the room would still steam up, requiring the use of the 50 year old fixed hair dryer to dry the mirror. 6. The black, toxic mould was everywhere in the bathrooms (all three bathrooms) The sinks, the showers. We all had to wear thongs for fear of getting some disease. 7. One of the rooms had ants trailing from the spa to the stairwell. 8. Insufficient toilet paper, when we called the reception, no one answered and no one answered the after hours numbers. We then had to drive to the supermarket to buy toilet paper and bleach to clean the shower bases and sinks. 9. When we approached the Receptionist, he did not care. We asked him to have a look and he did not want to. Believed his cleaners instead. Told us to stay elsewhere next time!!!!!! 10. Considered that the NZ$2700 we spent at this location was a complete waste of money. We’ve never been treated in this manner as a guest, totally disrespectful and arrogant people who operate this establishment. 11. Gun shots were heard on several nights, lots of police as well. Sadly not the right end of town to be accommodated in. 12. The only reason we chose this place was the reviews. Lies, Lies, and only Lies. I believe it may have changed ownership a while ago and the good reviews were obviously the previous owners........... I would never again pay to sleep in such a dirty and toxic establishment. Sadly, your establishment is a disgrace to this beautiful Country and its people. Shame on your appalling behaviour and inability to accept responsibility and accountability.

Clean and tidy room with very comfortable beds. Plenty of space in the room which was helpful considering the weather. Lots of traffic (as close to main thoroughfare) which made it noisy at times.

Besides locking himself out of the building we had a great time 10 out ¹0 from us

Very comfortable- nice spacious room and bed was really comfy. Very noisy location right next to busy roundabout and lots of big trucks. I would stay here more often as I come regularly but prohibitively expensive for what it is. I booked late so had no choice. You can get a very nice hotel room in Auckland for that price. Handy to hospital.
