A well-equipped kitchen with a cabinet of spices and a garden of herbs is popular with the cooks. From the breakfast room and back porch, watch eagles catch fish and swans swimming on the lake or paddle it in our canoes and get up close with the turtles and ducks. Enjoy the 60-foot long front porch with rockers, a picnic table, and a double swing. When the kids tire of the playground under the house they have only a 200-yard hop and skip to the beach. From there a ten-minute walk lands you at the Myrtle Beach State Park with its playgrounds, nature center, trails, fishing, and coffee and ice cream at the pier gift shop!
