Hotel Livvo Jandía Golf

We had such a lovely time here. For the price we paid with everything included, it was honestly worth every penny. The reception team were super friendly and welcoming they really made us feel at home. Big thanks to Lionel too, for being approachable and for the nice chat we had by the pool . We really appreciated it.

Hotel is nice, very clean (kudos to cleaning staff), food was nice and the staff are attentive and nice enough, especially Kevin, who was the standout colleague for me. Laura could smile more, but I feel her, having to deal with tourists all day. Entertainment team do a great job and the young kids love them. Evening entertainment is mini disco followed by music or games/quizzes. However, we tend to sit upstairs in the sports bar as it tends to be quieter and quicker to get drinks. The only downside is the location and lack of amenities. If you're happy to just relax and not wanting to travel it's perfect. But there is no shop in or near the hotel and the local town was petty much closed down apart from a spa and a few other shops. Taxi was hard to find, we were lucky enough to flag one down but don't expect to just get in a taxi. It's a fair walk to the town and all up hill on the way back. Only two of the three slides were running, which is a shame as the one that wasn't looked the most fun. I think a shop is needed here, as the Brits love Lays and that, the closed down bar would make a nice Little mini market.

Unforgettable family stay – highly recommended! Our experience at the hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm and welcoming staff who were attentive and helpful throughout our entire stay. The visit to the golf club was a highlight and truly something we will cherish forever. The hotel is also very family-friendly – a perfect choice for a stay with children. We would love to come back!

-Pool area is good however not open til 10am which is fine if you don’t have children but what are you supposed to do with a child that’s been up since 8am? You do find people will que at the gate for a sunbed near 10am. -Pool bar not open til 11am which is quite late in my opinion, soft drink machine isn’t turned on til then either so water only until then or you can get juice out of one machine in the restaurant. Always just one person behind the bar which just isn’t enough, the one person is always ran off their feet. The hotel is fairly clean but mess around the pool & bar area not cleaned up for long periods of time. -Rooms are nice and decent size but paper thin walls / no soundproofing. We had to move due to a screaming child next door waking us up every day at 7am, we had enough by day 5. Our new room was much better but at a cost of poor aircon, non working fans (which we were told don’t work in this block (2) they are just for DECORATION) and a non working phone to contact reception (what if we had an emergency??) all of which was reported on more than 5 occasions. We asked for some bedding for the sofa bed but was told no one was available to bring any so we ended up dragging the mattress into the lounge area as the aircon was slightly cooler in there -It can get very windy/chilly in the evenings so bring a jacket -Themed restaurant wasn’t open until we were a week into our holiday, it’s only open weds-Fri and you can go at 6:30 or 8:15. The food is much better than what you can get at the buffet, carbonara 10/10. It is still a buffet style and help yourself to drinks, no table service in either restaurant. Shame they can’t have same standard of food in the other restaurant -The entertainment team are lovely & friendly, Hakim in particular -The entertainment itself isn’t amazing but the main issue is there being not enough seating for the amount of guests -Hotel is mainly Spanish & German guests -Food is poor, not much choice, same stuff repeated lunch & dinner just in a slightly different variation if they could be bothered. The pasta is usually dreadful, overcooked & bland. They do have some nice hash browns at breakfast and good pizza at the snack bar. Self serve your own drinks in the restaurant, no wine glasses or pint glasses though -€8-€10 taxi into town, there is a shuttle that goes to the beach at 10am and returns at 5pm (apparently), we got the shuttle in but weren’t told where to get it back. No shops near the hotel so get snacks in town, there is a small fridge in the room. -There is a WhatsApp number for the hotel but don’t bother with that as you don’t get a response. We raised several complaints over the course of our 10 days and none of it was rectified, the staff don’t seem to care at all. Overall once improvements have been made this hotel could be a 4 star but at the moment it’s just about a 3. We paid a lot of money for this holiday and it’s unfortunately just not up to standard.

This is a great hotel. Still being renovated in places but none of that detracted from our experience. The pools were clean and felt like they were heated. Our room was super modern, spacious and comfortable. Our particular bathroom was a shower/bath. If you have mobility problems, would suggest you ask if there are any bathrooms that are more suitable or have a walk-in shower. Food is the best I've had in an all-inclusive buffet style restaurant. Fresh, tasty and varied with some staple favourites for less adventurous diners like me! Staff were amazing - very helpful without being overbearing. Access is great throughout the site - lifts, ramps etc. One of the pools is a sloped walk-in type. If you have a vehicle or are not fussed about being close to the beach, this is about perfect. Good value for money. Hope to be back. Thank you all the staff.

I stayed at the Livvo Jandia Golf from 4-11 July with my daughter. We always go for a relaxed, all-inclusive hotel and thought the family room overlooking the golf course was great value. The hotel has a Google sites link was provided on check-in but TripAdvisor won't let me post it here 😢 I would strongly recommend hiring a car. It's cheaper than dedicated transfers and there are some amazing driving experiences like the FV-30 in Fuerteventura. Jandia is a nice town and a car makes life easier. The hotel offers free parking and it's free to park on the streets nearby. I've attached a map of the hotel and a key in this review :-) I had requested a sofa bed for my daughter with a bedroom for me and the hotel had it all sorted in advance. The website wasn't the easiest to use booking directly, but they were genuinely the cheapest option compared to other sites. The hotel is very nicely laid out with family rooms away from the bar area in block 2. The room was incredible!!! My daughter went crazy when she saw it - a huge bedrooms, ample storage, massive lounge area and a massive Smart TV with a lovely bathroom with waterfall shower and hand-held. The air con was a little lacklustre - perfectly fine but not ice cold. There's a free safe and fridge included with a free bottle of water. The bed was extremely comfortable and the balcony serves both the lounge and the bedroom with a beautiful view of the golf course. I strongly recommend a family room if you can. Everything very clean with great maid service, loads of towels etc. The whole vibe of the hotel is very relaxed and hassle-free. Forget the usual hassle of queueing to be seated at a table you don't want, or slow drinks service. Just walk in with the wristband and help yourself, choose your own table and pour your own beer / wine / soft drink. No big queues, just very nice food and good service. It's not the biggest choice, but perfectly in keeping with 4-star. No penny-pinching here like charging extra for a safe or TV remote. Even the pool towels are given without deposit and signging anything. The snack bar is lovely with salad, fresh olives, nachos, pizza, burgers, cheese. Hot food is cooked with snacks like chips and spring rolls self service and left in hygienic containers to take yourself. Soft drinks, coffees, water and ice are self-service with beer, wine, spirits and cocktails all catered for at the bar. One really nice touch was when the bar queue got busy, within a few minutes 2 or 3 staff would appear to keep it to a minimum. A really nice touch that guests appreciated. Cocktails are freshly prepared - not cocktail lounge quality but absolutely fine as are the spirits. The pool is great fun, a good size for the hotel and the slides are bigger than they look. Loungers are plentiful and the pool opens at 10, so no hogging the facilities. We never struggled to find a space. The big pool is 1.4m deep with the lower pool near the bar more shallow. The guests were majority Spanish
