Just returned from 2 weeks at the Agnantio studios and apartments. My wife and I had studio 2, our daughter and her friend had studio 3. We've stayed in Skala many times but this was our first stay at Agnantio. The accommodation is modern, clean and really well maintained. There's a small pool and open views across the sea to Skala and well beyond. You will probably need a hire car or to use taxis as the walk into town is a bit of a stretch in the summer heat. The studios have plentiful storage space, a well-equipped kitchenette, quiet, efficient air-conditioning (no extra charge), a safe (likewise) and outdoor seating. There were some thoughtful touches above the usual self-catering standard, including provision of washing-up liquid, a new pan scourer and a folding clothes maiden complete with pegs. We spent our days loafing around the pool or driving to our usual haunts, and our evenings eating out in town and coming back to Agnantio to enjoy a bottle of wine outdoors. Very relaxing. On a couple of nights we could hear music when the Apostalata resort opposite held its Greek Night, but this was in no way intrusive and I actually found it pleasant (which surprised my family as I am known to be a noise-pollution grump). The manager Claudia is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and the complex is scrupulously maintained. The management clearly "get it", and are devoted to providing the best possible experience to the guests. One tip - it's worth keeping a few essentials in the fridge / cupboards. The nearest mini-market is a couple of miles away. If you've got water, milk, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, sandwich stuff and a drop of splosh you're probably covered for most eventualities. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and will be returning to Agnantio.
