The Royal Hotel

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. When we arrive, we were suppose to choose between twin room or double room and there is no double room available and we were in advance. Then in the room, no shampoo, no soap, the AC was not working well and made a terrible noise even on sleep mode. An old elevator always busy so we had to carry our suitcases ourselves to the 2nd floor. They said a parking was available for the customers but it was full so we had to go park somewhere else. The food especially for breakfast was not good. The tea bags in the room were already open. And the cups were not cleaned (I let you observe the pictures). Apart from the bed being comfortable (but separated from my partner)and the view there was nothing that we have appreciated. Though, It’s not far from Corfu town by car about 15 minutes.

Not so good this time , 3rd time at this hotel in 12 months first 2 times good , except for the breakfast , this time not so good breakfast we didnt even both , the 2 people on reception on friday evening a little rude but the nice lady on yesterday morning was lovely, but dont think we will come back , rooms are nice , bathrooms very small

I love it here. We come here a few times a year. We find it easy to unwind and relax. The staff are simply fab and most are the familiar faces we’ve seen over the past 3 years. Super menu choices and great value. The view is so beautiful, you can see planes take off and land. We love the Royal Grand bar opposite the hotel, a must visit. Thanks again Royal Grand Hotel Corfu for such a lovely stay. See you next year for sure.

This is one of the worst all inclusive holidays I’ve been on. Food from breakfast through dinner was vile, no variety, always cold, and don’t get me started on the drinks selection in the restaurant. The bar was ok, the you d lad pleasant and was by far the best at the cocktails. Rooms clean and tidy, but they need to rethink bathroom, every time the whole place floods, and no matter what we tried it just kept happening, not ideal, our patio door never shut properly so we could hear the plans more so than our daughters room next door. 3 out of 4 of our party were literally bitten to death each and every night. And the wasps round the pool were ridiculous, pool area ok, but needs updating, looking through the decking you can see a very dirty old unused pool, not very appealing. We rarely are in hotel in the end and went out most days, bus trip into old was only 15 minutes, lots of beautiful places to eat, all in all a bit disappointing as first holiday as family since covid.

Unsure of the good reviews of this hotel. We came here in high season and the hotel had no entertainment, so i wouldn't bring your kids to this hotel. Its right next to the runway, it's interesting to watch for the first few days and then gets annoying. Pool was dirty, decking was all coming apart, pool is salt water. Food was vile, milk for cereal was warm, worst all-inclusive food I've ever had they seriously need to upgrade the food as at lot of guests was complaining. Afternoon snacks was left on the pool bar sat in the 39 degrees heat, it was vile, Hardly any food options. The only thing good about the hotel is the decor, very modern and clean but thats about it. Its also about 15 minute bus ride into the town. I wouldnt recommend staying here.

So we stayed here in june with friends and had a great time only fault then was the breakfast , this time back for a long weekend with family was disappointed our room wasnt cleaned once and we had the same towels for 4 days , breakfast still a bit rubbish but if your not too fussy its ok . We where given another room for the day as we had a late check out it was a pool side much bigger than the main hotel and the bathroom was better all in all had a nice weekend 😀

Me and my boyfriend stayed here from 27/09/22 - 07/10/22 and we thoroughly enjoyed. The food is exactly what you’d expect from a 3* hotel, but there’s usually something there for everyone. We aren’t fussy eaters so we always enjoyed our food. we also noticed that the Greek food on the all inclusive menu was always lovely and had several Greek dishes throughout our stay. The rooms are modern and very clean and each room has a lovely balcony. We had a lovely room overlooking the airport runway and caught some beautiful sunsets. The pool area is clean and has comfortable sun loungers. However the pool is salt water so just be sure to bring goggles if your eyes are sensitive. There is also a pool bar for all inclusive guests to enjoy. The staff were absolutely wonderful with us during our stay, we can’t fault this at all. The only thing my partner and I agreed could be improved is a seating area outside in the evening. At 9pm when dinner finishes the staff move you on to the main bar which is next to reception, it is a beautiful bar and is presented well, however we would have personally enjoyed somewhere to sit outside to enjoy our drinks. That being said there are a few restaurants/bars within 2 minutes of the hotel which we also enjoyed visiting. There is one that we believe is linked to the hotel in some way as hotel guests receive 10% discount. There is a mini market that is local (3 minute walk) which sells a variety of stuff, we used this daily. The mini market is also cheaper to purchase bus tickets from, the bus tickets to town are €1.10 and this is cheaper than purchasing your tickets on the bus. Overall the hotel had all the transport links we needed to get around and visit some parts of corfu, clean rooms, decent food and lovely staff. We enjoyed our stay here.
