Here's what happened ... My husband and I stayed last year with our dog. I think their vendetta possibly started when we refused to change our reservation for their childcare issues. When we went to the accommodation, it was a poor experience (dirty rooms and pool, dog poo in garden, mould in food etc) but we gave an honest review, even saying the owners were alright people. We posted the review on Google and the abuse from the owners immediately started via their response and text message (violation of privacy). They called us names, lied about what happened, tried to bribe us with money to remove the review, wrote passive aggressive comments to us, etc etc. Time passed and then I got an email saying my review had been reinstated (I didn't know it had been removed), and then the abuse started again ... including questioning my mental health. It's a shame that the owners are stuck in their fixed mindset and aren't able to grow and learn from constructive feedback. Their immature and vile messages to me are just totally unforgivable - gladly I can laugh at how uncouth their attitude is, but I pity the bad example they're setting their child, about whom this probably all started. Stay here if you want, even though there are better maintained, friendlier places in the locality. Just be warned - if you're unhappy with anything, you'll receive a barrage of abuse.
