Absolutely appalling. Booked for three nights (two separate bookings but we were assured on arrival that we would stay in the same room) only to find on return to the hotel on night three that all of our belongings had been removed from the room and stuffed in black bags in a store room. The room key still opened our room but there was nothing there! The young man on reception was totally unhelpful, unapologetic, threatening, disrespectful and frankly had the worst attitude I have ever experienced in customer 'service'. The Duty Manager (when eventually contacted) would only agree to deal with the issue the following day. Totally appalling. As this is the level of customer service at Travelodge I recommend that you use the Premier Inn or Ibis across the road. What is the point of requiring us to provide telephone numbers and email addresses if they don't contact customers to ask why they might have left all their belongings in a hotel room? If we'd been involved in an RTA would they have done the same? Spoilt our weekend. Would never stay here again. Shambolic.
