Listen, I don't think this is a horrible place to stay. And I personally booked the room with a shared bathroom, so I already knew I wasn't getting an excellent service, and my review is for *this* kind of room and this kind of room only, I know absolutely nothing about the rooms with a bathroom! But, let me tell you this : if you're in the same condition as me, just book a hostel and not this. Especially if you're a solo traveler. The room was very small, but I paid what I paid, not much, so I was very okay with that. But the pillow was very uncomfortable as well. The door in the room I was staying in, could be closed very poorly and the locker was so old, I wasn't even sure it was closed correctly. The stairs of the hotel were super high, there wasn't much space and they were uncomfortable, plus the whole thing gave me claustrophobia. the shared bathroom wasn't so easy to find but that is on me. (But why have two different places for the shower and toilet? Why not just one? Also was that even a shower? It was basically just a wall with a handle and water) oh, last thing : I was already feeling overwhelmed so I didn't check that in with the staff which I should have done, but there was a sign saying that if you get back after 11pm they might not letting you in? And I needed to be let him late since I was in London to see two improv shows that weekend so I just changed hotel halfway through my stay. Also was the stuff rude? No. But were they extremely kind? Well, no. If you travel in London for only one day, maybe you can stay there. But not for longer. And please not as a solo traveler. Especially if you're a woman or a feminine presenting person.
