Chanticleer Inn

We absolutely loved our stay here for our short weekend “baby moon”! I had stayed once before on a girls trip and knew this would be the perfect little getaway for my husband and me. Breakfast each morning was amazing! We had the specials in addition to the little breakfast bar. First morning was French toast and bacon and the second was homemade biscuits and sausage gravy. I enjoyed the egg option! The scrambled eggs were perfect and fluffy. The patio area is the perfect place to sit and relax each morning and the bocce ball court was a fun afternoon activity after enjoying the afternoon snacks provided in the main area of the inn. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast experience to anyone looking to step into a quiet and quaint getaway for a few days.

First time for 3 nights (May 10th, 11th, 12th) 2024. Breakfast great, afternoon snacks very good also. People nice. About 100 years old, so a little tired. Bathroom vent dirty. Note in room saying due to difficulties hiring help, no maid service. I find that unacceptable. If you are in this business and we are paying close to $300.00 a night, I expect maid service. At least take the maids 'tip box' out of the room!! Because we accomplished everything we came for, we left early since didn't want to sleep 3 nights in a unkept bed (had to put the towels outside if you wanted clean towels). Did not ask for any type of refund, and none offered. Has the potential, just not there....at least for our stay.

We rented the cottage for the weekend of my daughter's wedding at the venue, Grandview, which was right next door . It was perfect for us as we had all of the bridesmaids and the bride stay there. There was plenty of room for the make-up and hair preparation as well as the photographer to document the event. The beds were very comfortable and 4 separate bedroom gave us space when we needed, but still had space to gather. The sunroom was perfect for the makeup room with all of the natural light. The location right across the street from Grandview was all we could ask for.

Found this star while looking for a nice hotel/resort near Chattanooga, TN. Wanted luxury, quaint, coffee and some food nearby while searching. Stumbled upon The Chanticleer Inn pleasantly. Several rooms to choose from, clean and cozy. The steam shower was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious and quiet. Walked out door to Rock City. Perfect

Lovely, quaint 1930’s Inn, clean and attractive. Breakfast was delicious with varied breads/cereals/ yogurt plus a hot egg option. Very nice. 200 characters minimum so lieu of brevity, I’ll say the the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs. We would go again!

Romantic rooms and great food. They are great for an anniversary getaway. The staff went out of their way to our weekend great. The Inn is perfectly located for easy access to most of the attractions on top of the mountain. The only complaint I can give is there needs to be handicap rails in shower tubs.

I really enjoyed my stay and the cucumber and aloe soaps are the best. The decor is country chic nothing fancy but very nice and relaxing. We stayed in room 8,they offer breakfast and a snack during the evening. They are right across from rock city. I will stay here again.

This was a wonderful bed and breakfast we stayed here 13 years ago when we got married.. there are new owners but it was great and the staff was so nice.. the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good . Wonderful location when staying on the mountain.

Wonderful breakfast, amazing location, and great nightly fire. We stayed in number 10, think I will pick a room with a fireplace next December. Hope to make this a December anniversary tradition. Rock city night lights are magical. Reserve in advance as they sell out.
