Rosewood Luang Prabang exceeded all of my expectations. When it comes to first-rate service, you never falter. Mr. Tia, our driver, greeted me with the warmest of welcomes upon my arrival at Luang Prabang Airport, where he waited for my family for 30 minutes. In reality, he played soccer for the Lao national team. Wow, that's awesome! When we got there, we met the boss, Resort Manager - Mr. Adrien, and he is fantastic. During my time there, he provided excellent service no matter where we asked to go, or what to eat. He is a book! I also got to know Boumy, Vanh, Chan, Toukta, etc., and the FOM Bounlieng who were constantly there to lend a hand throughout our travels. I can't believe it. I have nothing but praise for their assistance because they are excellent and kind. The resort as a whole is so picturesque that it teaches us about Laotian history, culture and nature. All of the furnishings in our suite-style villa evoke a bygone era of splendor in Laos and Luang Prabang. I really appreciate the thoughtful touches, like the daily surprise on my bed and the homemade treat served in my room. The Great House Restaurant's a la carte breakfast is something I already miss. Very tasty, combining the best of both traditional Lao cuisine and Western influences. With its prime riverfront location, the Elephant Bridge Bar is also a must-visit spot in this resort. You need only get ready to completely submerge yourself in this secluded resort, hand over control of your life, and enjoy the best of what nature has to offer.
