As a group of friends we had a great lunch at the Rock Point. The service was warm, friendly and efficient. The wine list was varied and good. The menu was also varied and covered all our tastes. The food arrived in good time and was excellent. We will return.

Some of the best food I've eaten in a restaurant (do try the pie and mash!). Breakfasts are top notch - fresh pastries, and fresh fruit plus delicious cooked offerings as well (pancakes, full English, avocado on toast to name but a few). Amazing location right on the sea front, rooms are comfy (fluffy pillows) with Nespresso coffee maker (always a draw for me!) and a good quality shower.

Accommodation - just ok. Tiny rooms, uneven floors, which is to be expected with such an old building but sleeping on an angle not the best. Sea view room, more Sea glimpse. Location great, staff wonderful. Breakfast average, not consistent, one day good continental selection the next not so much. Cooked offering, average at best and limited choice. Rooms I guess best you can do with space but at such a size in my opinion too high price point. King view room we allocated was roof line and chimney view with sea either side. Shower not suitable for all as design has shelf eating into limited access door. All in all, average.

The perfect overnight getaway. The room was perfect - comfy bed, great decor, beautiful sea view and added extras. We booked a table in the restaurant and the food was great too. Fresh, tasty and great service. We had a bottle of the local white wine which was delicious. After a great nights sleep the breakfast was amazing and had generous portions. The added bonus was that when I asked for some more green tea bags the manager went out to get me some as they had run out. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay. We had room 8 in annexe not a big room but fabulous comfy super king bed, lovely touches including large TV with Netflix, nice towels, toiletries and a nespresso. Biscuits, milk and a fridge in room.lovely bedding. Extra plus point room service every day even bank holidays and Sundays. Nice view some sea view and a view up the main hill nice people watching spot. Breakfast was lovely, good choice and a continental every morning all good quality and large portions. Cannot fault it other than windows needed a clean on outside very dirty and outside of building would benefit from TLC. Outside does not reflect super quality inside but you don’t see it once through door and wouldn’t knock a point for it. Would 100 % stay again.

Just want to say that Dan has done an amazing job! He exudes hospitality and friendliness and makes us feel welcome every time we visit! Keep up the good work! Great well worth a visit. Went for a family meal and we're made very welcome for my grans birthday. To see how the staff treated her was worth the visit alone. Keep it up Dan!

What an amazing pub! I went for a solo stay with my dog and we had a great time! Staff are soo welcoming and my pup loved the fuss! The room was perfect for us with a lovely view of the sea and the dog friendly touches really made us feel accommodated. Will definitely be back soon! Thank you all!

Wow just wow, after an interesting day of rain and shine we came for a fish and chips and it just hit the spot, combine that with a lovely Korev and the brilliant manager Dan it just topped of the day, we had the young server Millie we found it just to be the perfect day!!!

Amazing service! Great beer and friendly staff :) can’t wait to visit again. The food was amazing- the pie and fish and chips were lovely, and the local beers went down a treat! Thank you to Dan and his team. Too full for puddings this time- fingers crossed for our next visit!
