MPT Jungle Resort Sarhi, Kanha

If anybody needs to learn how to host a guest it should be from resorts like MPT sarahi. The staff even though are working as contractors and not on full term basis show so much of dedication and commitment. I was very impressed with the efforts of the staff in taking care of my family and me. Within their capacity the staff has tried their best to entertain us and keep us comfortable Room - For the price I think the room is very neat and comfortable. It does well to keep up matching as a jungle resort. The room is large and spacious. No complaints about the room as sometimes just the ambience is good. Bathroom - Bathroom is spacious and well lit and ventilated. The Bathroom is neat and well maintained. Room Service - All the staff was very prompt in service and did everything profressional. I saw lot of commitment. I appreciated the behaviour and attitude Food - Typical north indian preparation. Even though the spread is less the food has been prepared with lots of involvement and keeping in guests interest. Never did the staff refuse anything requested. I like the response from the dining staff. Jungle Safari - The Sarahi gate entry is just 100 - 150 m away from MPT sarhai gate so that makes it very convenient. If you stay in this resort you must do Safaris but generally the Sarahi Zone is not famous as Kanha zone for tiger sighting. I got a glimpse of tiger in the very first safari but generally the sightings were average. Amenities - Its a small resort with few games available like table tennis, snooker table, badminton, exercising equipments in lawn area, and swimming pool. We enjoyed our stay and would like thank all the staff for their efforts in entertaining and serving us.

The location of the resort is wonderful. It is just a few steps away from the Sarhi gate which makes it very convenient while going for safaris. Since it is newly built, the resort is very well constructed into individual cottages which are very well maintained and clean. The beautiful ambience of the resort makes the stay very picturesque. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Mr. Mahendar at the reception provides all the information needed in a very non biased manner. Mr. Shyam who is in charge of the dining hall was caring enough to pack a breakfast basket for us before we left for an early morning safari. The staff is always smiling and polite. Food was good with hot rotis served with steaming hot vegetables,dal,rice and salad... and of course the mandatory desert! All in all a wonderful place to stay. Thumbs up to the MPT Sarhi resort.

Wonderful stay with all amenities. Food was awesome and hygienic environment with full cleanliness. Very good ambience with amazing views all around the resort. Safaris are available at walking distance from resort. Best part is hotel staff provide you well packed breakfast during safari.

The property is very beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were clean and cosy. The staff was very courteous and polite. The food served was tasty and had quite a few options to choose from. Would love to visit again . Just a suggestion to plz provide a shed or covered area for parking.

The hotel is well maintained. Restaurant staff Shyam Bihari & cook went out of their way to serve us good food. The staff was exceptionally good, especially receptionist Mahendra Barmaiya who drove to the pharmacy to get us medicine for my daughter who was not feeling well. All the staff were super good, polite and kind and did everything to keep the guest happy. Like to specifically mention Mahendra Barmaiya, Jaipal das, Manish Bahangdale, Vivek Takhur and Shyam Bihari, exceptionally good However, the Manager Yogendra Choudhary was not proactive, polite and helpful. He was more interested only in making money and never to be seen in the hotel.Generally most of the hotels give basis free food to the poor drivers in the mess, here he charged them Rs 100 each for every meal (dal,roti & sabzi) breakfast etc. for eating in the mess. The staffs are great who literally runs the hotel all by themselves with their courtesy and politeness (except Manager Yogendra Chaudhary) Rgds Mathew

Stayed at MPT Baghira Jungle Resort (Sarhi, Kanha) with my wife & 3 yr old child for 3 nights 29th Apr to 1st May, one of the best experience at any MPT resorts. Wonderful ambience & very unique location, comfortabe rooms with lovely view, delicious food & all very courteous staff. Overall very satisfied with my trip. Will surely visit again. Only one word is excellent. Very cooperative, professional staff. Food quality and test is great. Room decor, facilities and cleanness is just outstanding.

The view of kanha seems very natural and too good, the arrangement by the staff was so nice , staffs were attentive with good communication also well dressed and served me so nice I like the whole management done by the resort sarhi staff as well as the hygiene factors was quite impressive will sure visit again well managed by the staff ,Good food.will recommend sarhi resort to friends and family 👌👌😘😘

Very good location and cooperative staff.I enjoyed this place a lot with family. One can cover Kanha jungle from Sarhi gate too..
