Barahi Jungle Lodge

Everything was purrfection from arrival to departure. Beautiful bungalows, warm welcome, wonderful, kind staff and the best guide and driver ( Govinda and Pushpa ) Lovely dining, menu options, great breakfast buffet. Truly a magical place! Many activities to choose from of course jungle safaris are the best on the lookout daily for animals ( we were quite lucky to actually see a tiger but too quick for a picture, many birds, deer, sloth bear, monkeys and rhinos. No elephant this time. Do at least one full day to experience a lunch in the wild. Sunrise/sunset breakfast/dinner river boat ride amazing! Don't forget to visit the spa for some after bumpy jeep ride relaxation and enjoy an evening with local dancers from nearby villages.

Amazing place to stay and like the eco friendly environment. Staffs are just awesome and one time I am not hyper but the staff talk to me very nicely and I feel guilty and apologise. I will defiantly come back and stay. Just few things need to improve that they need to tidy the swimming pool as it is outdoor but still need to maintain.

The hotel is very beautiful. The staff was all very welcoming and polite. The food and activities provided were great! We went on an afternoon safari and got to see rhinos up close along with other animals. Was a very pleasant visit and I would come back.

A wonderful experience at this peaceful oasis in Chitwan. Perfect location for safari tours with excellent guides and drivers. We stayed in the suite, which is well worth extra, particularly for a family as you get your own pool and space to unwind. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was good quality. We will likely be back soon....!!

The property is beautiful and enhanced by the people and service provided! It was a once in a lifetime experience with a comfortable stay and curated activities Tek was our naturalist who went out of his way to give us a special experience with the boat and jeep safaris. We were pampered with the service, drinks, food, spa and activities, which made our stay that much more incredible. I am definitely going back and will recommend the place to my family and friends.

I’ve been to this lodge multiple times, last time in April 2024, and each time I’m amazed by the beauty of the property and the excellent service provided by the staff. The boat and jeep safaris are excellent (yes - I saw a tiger!) The food is tasty and plentiful. During each of my visits Gobinda was my guide and I cannot recommend him enough.

Great experience overall; the suite is top notch including swimming pool, clean and great service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with great variety. Jeep and boat safari were both are must do’s… request Gobinda if you have a chance; best guide you can wish for. Family loved the long weekend here!
