Beach Club Menorca

Was worried having read previous reviews, but really nothing to worry about! Booked this 3 weeks prior to coming, upgraded to room with sea view for next to nothing. View from my balcony AMAZING. The rooms are basic, but clean and have everything you need. Pool is lovely, as is the pool bar. Beach is beautiful, plenty of small supermarkets around too. Plenty of walking/hiking routes too. I found the beds comfy and area very peaceful. Negatives- the apartments are very thin walled, unfortunately my “neighbours” were very loud late at night and you can hear every word they say! The resort/complex is alone, not walking distance to any towns but it feels like it’s own little village. I’d 100% stay here again, and just hope for quieter people in adjoining apartments! On the whole the place is beautiful and has everything I wanted.

No complaints at all, the apartment was clean and comfortable, staff were very accommodating and friendly, we arrived quite late in the day and a snack had been left in the fridge in our apartment, we had booked half board and the meals were amazing buffet style with plenty of choices every taste catered for including a chef just to make a variety of eggs fried poached scrambled and omelet for breakfast, would definitely recommend 10/10

My wife and I have had a fabulous 10 days here. Great apartment, spotlessly clean and in easy reach of the beach and club bar. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. We’d love to come back sometime!

My partner and I loved our time here , we had a lovely sea view , and spent each morning with breakfast on the balcony , even seeing goats just a few metres away one morning !! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a breakfast , and also a evening meal , there is no oven but that was fine for us , pool area lovely and relaxing, we hired a car which was a great way to see the whole of this beautiful island , a few restaurants, the ones we used where great , not many to choose from but we wanted a quiet resort , this was the ideal base for a beach holiday ( the cove was just wonderful) and for days out if you are looking for a relaxing break this is for you , if you are wanting an action packed busy resort maybe not so much , we can’t wait to come back !!!!!

Breakfast at Sun Park? Felt like a race! They started cleaning tables while we were still eating, and one staff member called Raul could've won 'Rudest Employee of the Month.' Missed out on the view and the vibe! While having breakfast at Sun Park Hotels, we were rudely interrupted. The staff began cleaning up around us and even closed the shutters, blocking the view. This was both unprofessional and disappointing.

We didn’t read the reviews until after we booked! We booked a suite and this was of a decent standard. The hotel had obviously read the reviews and by the time of our visit in September the suites had both kettles and a fridge. Wi-Fi was consistently good except for a short period after a storm. We had a couple of broken/not working things but these were replaced or repaired within minutes of reporting them to reception. We had booked breakfast and also ate dinner in the buffet most evenings. The food is good and varied but could be warmer. Good value for money. The suite was cleaned every other day and linen and towels changed. The gardens are well looked after and everywhere is very clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to work very hard. The beach is lovely and the sea is shallow so good for swimming. Yes there are steps and slopes and if you can’t manage these this might not be the place for you. We had a car so I can’t comment on the bus service. Son Parc itself is quite run down with closed shops and restaurants, presumably victims of Covid. Overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday. No it’s not 5 star but nor is the price. We would go back.

Resort itself is lovely and peaceful, beautifully clean and close by to a lovely beach with beautiful colour of the sea. Restaurant on site serves delicious food, can't comment on the hotel breakfast dinner restaurant as we did self catering. A very sedate pretty place to be. Cocktails at the pool bar went down very well. We stayed for 4 nights just for some peace and quiet and total relaxation. Citudella is worth a visit as is the nearby town which appears to be more built up and lively, probably about a 15 minute drive away . Apartment was comfortable enough but have to say the walls are a bit thin so unless people are respectful towards one another regarding noise level then you might not get the best night's sleep. A family with young children was in the apartment next to us and they allowed their very young children to play and run around at midnight, we could hear every word being said, so for me this is where the accommodation fails but the complex itself is lovely and well maintained. Nice for a short restful break. It's just a gamble as to who your neighbours might be at either side and above you.

Basic Rooms but very comfortable. However in 2023 people do need WiFi to research days out and where to find local facilities. The WiFi although free is extremely poor in the outer apartments. Tv did not work (just as a note nothing else) Air con only worked in lounge not the bedroom. These apartments are only for somewhere to sleep so not too much of an issue just letting people know prior to booking Could not fault the staff all very helpful and friendly. There are local buses that leave right outside with clear timetable and easy to understand. Highly recommend the car hire. €118 for two days is very reasonable and plenty of time to explore the island

Recently returned from a short break - booked via Jet2holidays. Stayed in 1 x bed apartment (seaview) & Half board. The complex is on top of a cliff and on many different levels - so consider your mobility as you cannot get anywhere without going up and down steps and slopes - some quite steep. Accommodation - spacious & clean apartments but desperately due a refurbishment. Kitchen only has a hob and microwave so no real cooking could be done for those self catering. Sadly the balcony was the let down with table, chairs & floor looking like they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Wifi only worked if on the balcony. Couldn't get connection inside the room. Rooms cleaned on alternative days - mine wasn't cleaned at all in the 5 days I was there. Aircon good. Restaurant (only used buffet restaurant) Food was always hot but not a great deal of choice. Was put off by the chef serving dishes with a clearly marked 'tip jar' next to him. Beach - Absolutely worth going down to - large expanse of soft sand and crystal clear shallow water. 2 x sun loungers & umbrella costs Euro 20 for full day. Beach bar at one end. Swimming pool - good size and always clean, plenty of sun loungers - reserving not allowed. Bus stop right outside complex to get to Mahon approx Euro 3 e/w (30 mins) - worth a trip. Not a lot going on in the vicinity to walk to or visit - possibly too quiet & peaceful location. You just have to remember it's all very well going down to everything - but you have to get back up the hill to return!!! Overall - enjoyed my short break but 5 days was more than enough. Would be disappointed if staying any longer. Paid a reasonable price for what I got though would also be unhappy if I paid double in say July/Aug for what you get. Might have just been the end of the season but staff seemed a little uninterested and the place in general seemed tired. Would I return - sadly no, as too quiet and way too hilly for me. Never stayed in the northern coast before and now know I prefer the flatter south of the island.
