La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Meridian / Boise West

We stay there frequently and received excellent service and clean facilities. We always make advanced reservations. Unfortunate the front desk person wasn’t friendly or trying to be helpful. We have well mannered corgi dogs. She said we needed to be on the ground floor, which was fine. But she was going to put us in a room next to the elevator we had stayed in prior which is very noise. I asked if she had another room and she acted put out by my request, chewing on her lip, saying the motel was full (3rd floor) of FedEx drivers and they need to sleep (like we don’t!). She finally reprogrammed the keys to another 1st floor room and the room was fine. First time of having less than excellent service.

Good stay. A bit noisy so close to on ramp for I-84. We were comfortable and tired so no energy to try to change rooms. We will ask for a more quiet room nect tim

We were given a room that was on the first floor next to the exit door. The door was very loud when it closed. It woke us up every time someone came in or out.

The rooms were clean. The pillows were a little flat and breakfast wasn't the best. The pool was very cold, but overall for the price it was good.

I really liked the room for the price we got. It had everything i expected. Only negative was the 3rd floor only has a thin curtain on the windows which caused alot of glare on the tvs and we were watching the superbowl. Plus it made alot of sun come through in the morning. Not good for sleeping in. But other than that staff was friendly and helpful and room was big and accomadating . Id definitely stay here again

We booked with the intention of using the pool because my 3 older kids love swimming. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance. At our last stay we had a not so pleasant experience from the pool and didn’t even get reached out to by management. It was late and we weren’t about to cancel and find a be hotel. I booked here again hoping to give it another shot. 1 disappointed the pool was closed and online didn’t mention anything of it. Once we got to our room, it was freezing. The thermostat was set on 50! I had a baby with us as well and had to keep him bundled up until it warmed up. In the long run it wasn’t a huge deal, but would have expected it to be a comfortable 68-70 on heat considering it’s January. The tv remote after using and looking at to find the correct button to use was quite frankly disgusting! I understand cleaning crews maybe don’t think to properly clean these, but this one had grime and cross in between the buttons. I am not OCD or a clean freak, but with 4 children I tend to look at that stuff more. HIGHLY suggest the cleaning crews add this and the phones to their deep cleaning lists. Lastly, 2 of my kiddos shared the pull out couch bed. There were no sheets or extra pillows anywhere in the room. Some might say a simple resolution would be to go down to the front desk to get some. But that’s not the point. If a room has a bed it should have linens in the room. I was also alone with 4 kiddos and didn’t want to leave them alone in the room.

My husband had surgery and we needed 2 queens for the stay. We’ve stayed here with the family once for Christmas. I love the place and staff.

We booked this hotel for the pool and upon arrival we were told that the pool was under construction and closed. The hotel said they would cancel our reservation but ******* would not refund us. The closure of the pool should be relayed through third party booking apps. Also, our closet door was jammed and would not open. We had a lot of luggage and nowhere to store it. It wasn’t ideal. The charging ports on the lamps did not work either.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. I was sad that the hot tub was not usable but understand the renovation. The breakfast was less than I expected. I dont like to complain but you should know that the muffins were hard, the coffee was cold and the eggs weren't very good. Maybe it was just a bad day. Otherwise it was a good stay.
