We had an amazing time in Sorrel ,thank you so much to Andrea & Andri from restaurant :) We had great chat with new Genaral manager John Washco he mentioned about future plan about Sorrel sound so exciting,looking forward to go back again 🫠

This place is magical. The setting is incredible. Ranch is beautiful, rooms are top tier, food is great, and the staff makes it even better. Everyone from Brooke at the front desk, Rieza w housekeeping to Suzette and Orlando at the restaurant. They work hard to make your stay unforgettable.

My stay at Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, Brooke at the front desk greeted me warmly, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. Rieza, our attentive room attendant, ensured that every detail of our room was perfect throughout our stay. Suzette, our breakfast server, was incredibly friendly and made sure we started each day with a smile. And let's talk about dinner! Orlando, the food & beverage manager, along with his attentive staff, made our dining experience exceptional. The food was exquisite, and the service was top-notch. In addition to the outstanding service, we enjoyed the amenities, including the clean gym where we could maintain our fitness routine, and sitting by the fire by the river, which provided a serene and picturesque setting to unwind. Overall, Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa exceeded my expectations in every way. I can't wait to visit again and experience their unparalleled hospitality. A huge thank you to Brooke, Rieza, Suzette, Orlando, and the entire team for making my stay so memorable!

Our time at Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa was wonderful! Brooke at the front desk and Rieza, our room attendant, provided excellent service. Suzette made our mornings with her cheerful breakfast service, and Orlando and his team impressed us with delicious dinners. Interacting with the animals was a highlight, and the serene river views were unforgettable. Big thanks to the staff for their hospitality!

Was planning a trip to Moab for a wedding and decided to stay at the Sorrel River Ranch. The experience there was exceptional! Everything from the staff to the accommodations to the food was wonderful. You cannot beat the serenity & beauty of the surroundings. It is a smaller resort and there just seems to be something special & genuine about it that is often lost in larger resort settings. A few staff standouts (although we enjoyed the service and interaction with all of the staff): Lita and Brooke were extremely welcoming and accommodating at the front desk and attentive to all of our needs. Suzette was our breakfast server each morning and always started our day off with a warm smile and genuine service. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the lodge and Orlando in the dining room, the chef (didn’t catch his name unfortunately) and their team were all great and we loved the food. Rieza was our room attendant and everything in the rooms was fresh & comfortable. We also appreciated the coffee, water, chips & salsa that was stocked daily in our rooms for us. We enjoyed 3 nights at the ranch. If you are looking for something a little off the beaten path, but yet still completely accessible to all that Moab has to offer, we highly recommend the Sorrel River Ranch. We didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or the horseback riding but hope to do so next time!

We planned a leadership trip and our experience at Sorrel River Ranch was amazing. The GM John, our host Baltazar made everything perfect. Also, we were lucky to enjoy some mind bending meals by Chef Elliot and most like they best Cherry Cheesecake I've ever tasted. If you're looking for a place to enjoy nature, eat well, recharge in a setting to find you next idea this is the place.

I have travelled extensively throughout the world but This is the fifth time here at the Sorrel River Ranch Amazing views, love it here The staff are wonderful Food is great Housekeeping are perfect The staff took me on a UTV ride to chickens corner.. .. it was was an area I had never even heard of .. what a wonderful treat Great fun, food and drinks along the way ( not booze it’s Utah) guide was great. Several Stops to take in the beauty of Moab I had never seen before And the views Surreal beauty .. and after mountain biking and then Hi king in the Arches and Canyonlands …hot tub …spa .. deep tissue Sunset over the sorrel red rocks In the hot tub with a fine Cab .. .. Sorrel River Ranch was well worth a visit. Very friendly staff, excellent riding facilities and riding trails with professional, competent and very knowledgeable, trail leaders. For traveling during shoulder season (March 2024), we used SRR as a base for other attractions in the region. Dinner service was very good, although a little over-priced. Cabins were well equipped with a wooden, Western theme with all mod cons, although Wi-Fi service and cell phone connections were spotty unless one stepped outside of the cabin. Staff went out of their way to accommodate guests' wishes, even opening the "General Store" for us even though it was technically closed. Definitely recommended during off and shoulder season times.

Sorel River Ranch is a welcoming oasis nestled on the banks of the Colorado River surrounded by picturesque red rock facades. Our stay could not have been more pleasant. The king room facing the river was beautiful and spacious and the staff kept it immaculate each day. The food was outstanding with breakfast served on their riverside deck. We would highly recommend the avocado toast served with two perfectly poached eggs. Dinner was also very good with a short menu of delectable delights. Service was very good led by Will and Andrei who also made nice cocktails to get the evenings going. Each night we enjoyed making s’mores around a communal campfire where we met and enjoyed time with other guests. Activities abound at Sorel from horseback riding to hiking and our favorite was the UTV excursion into the Onion Creek Canyon led by Samantha, an excellent tour guide. The pool was a welcome and refreshing sight at the end of the day. Sorel is close to Arches National Park and Moab proving even more options for activities. We hiked in Arches and shopped in Moab and enjoyed a dinner cruise and light show on the river provided by Canyon Lands. All in all we loved our stay at Sorel River Ranch and hope to come back again soon!
