Hotel Manama

Pathetic Staff behaviour was very rude Non cooperative staff. Very bad experience with this hotel. First the cost was through the roof and we booked it thinking it was 3 star but it is worse than a 1 star. There were cockroaches roaming around in the bathroom and in the room as well. Even if the room was clean, this is a serious health hazard. In the name of amenities, they gave a tv and a kettle. We had booked an Executive room but there were no efforts to make the stay better.

Worst hotel i had ever stay so for... I don't recommend it to anyone .. Please do renovate your room , bedsheet torn, toillet really in bad condition .. An incident happen to my daughter due to the hotel water from the bathroom , and the staff told me to go in my room to rest.. Spoke with the ***ager of the hotel , he told me the same things instead of finding a solution .. Been in the hospital from 18hr00 to 23hr00.. Staff made as if nothing happened.. But thanks to the hotel driver Shankar who went above and beyond to find hospital and they gave my daughter a treatment..

Went back to this place after more than 15 years. Used to stay here a lot when i had work in Ballard Estate long time back. They have refurbished the hotel and changed quite a lot over the years. The location is the best part though. walking distance from cst station, lots of decent restaurants around and easy availability of cabs when you need them. Rooms are a little small and price is slightly on the higher side. We did not try the room service as we were only spending the night. Overall, decent stay at the location. Sleep quality is good but sound proofing needs to be improved.

PROS: - Centrally located in South Mumbai. - Very close to VT station. - Taxis available outside the hotel easily. - Prompt Room service. Staff is helpful. - Vegetarian food Very good in the restaurant. Must try the Rabri dessert. - Adequate Breakfast. - Fast Check-in. Front desk staff is efficient. CONS: - Rooms are extremely small. Musty smelling. - Most rooms have no windows. - Some rooms are in need of major renovation. - AC in our room was dripping water. So asked for a change of room. Don't hesitate to ask for a change. - WiFi and Mobile signals very weak in the rooms . - No mobile signal in restaurant. - Overall the hotel feels very cramped. small rooms, narrow corridors and passages, etc.

Stayed for a total of 6 nights (not in a row). The first time we were given a room on the second floor and it was damn stinking outside in the corridor. In the room it's fine. The second time we got a room on the fourth floor, not stinking at all but room is very small and bathroom is not separated from toilet. So if you shower, you will get your toilet and bassin all wet and dirty. Food is good but takes time. Staff is very very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Mr Anurag, Imran, Pappu ji, Bhupender and others. They are at your service at any time you need something. Location is good as it is close to all markets and CST.
