If you are coming to Delhi and are happy to stay near the airport, I highly recommend an apartment here. Traveling as a family of four, it was great to have a washer/dryer on hand, as well as a full kitchen, separate living area (with a separate smart tv) and a bathroom where the toilet is also separate. The walk-in wardrobe is an additional lovely touch, and there is more storage than you could possibly use. The staff (everyone from the front desk people, to the restaurant staff and even the security personnel) are very professional and welcoming and eager to help any way they can. We arrived late with two tired and hungry children after a stressful flight, and Ipsa at reception looked after us so well, even arranging bananas for the children (she asked if she could get them anything and that was my request!) as I checked in. Shiva arranged my c-form (a particular travel document I needed) the same night we checked in, even though it was so late. We had breakfast included which is a buffet serving both Indian and international dishes, and looked forward to it every day. There’s a large courtyard garden surrounding the poolside area which was great for the children to play. There is a fab restaurant (run and ***aged all by women) attached to the hotel called Soul Kitchen, which serves the best pizza I’ve tasted outside of Italy, and caters for food intolerances (my partner was able to get a gluten-free base). Having been here once, I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Delhi with a family. Highly, highly recommended.
