Extended Stay America Suites - San Diego - Oceanside

The front desk staff were courteous, though they told me nothing about any amenities the hotel had to offer. The building smelled terrible, the carpets were stained, there were cigarette burns on the kitchen counter, the curtain was torn or burned. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at.

We had a water spilling from the shower, we asked for somebody to fix it but we haven’t any help

Thanks to Manir for the heads up about a water repair on the property. I will always give credit where credit is due. I am very comfortable at this property. I will be using it as my go-to spot when we have visitors in the area. I made an acct with ESA so when family comes in (I have a very small apt), they can stay at this property where they may store food in a full size fridge and even cook! This helps make it affordable to come visit at the beach! Sahara is always helpful. Her calm demeanor makes me feel less stress while I’m away from home. Also, I wanted to commend the housekeeping staff! They’ve always responded with more towels and linens when I was out. The rooms are tidy! The common areas are spotless. The grounds outside are always picked up. The location is great too!! Walkable to major restaurants like Texas Roadhouse. Target is close. Trader Joe’s is close. The beach is not far, maybe 5 miles or so. I recommend this property to anybody traveling. Many thanks to Shilpa and the whole staff!!

I wanted to shout out Sahara, too. She’s been nothing but kind to me and has made it easier for me to survive a very difficult time for my family. Thanks Sahara for you kind and professional demeanor. Again, the whole staff has been amazing! The laundry room is so convenient! It’s clean and I like that you can use coins or card to pay. I have come to believe that ESA Oceanside as a refuge. My family and I have been in a storm and this hotel is our home away from home. It’s always quiet & peaceful. The laundry facilities are perfect. I have felt safe here. Thanks again, everybody!

Just shouting out the staff at ESA OCEANSIDE. I may not know everybody’s name but Mangit, Ana, Jessica & Shilpa have all been very professional and kind during what was a very difficult time for me & my family. Thanks to the whole staff including the housekeeping crew!

Cleanliness, staff and experience was great. The only opportunity for update is the WIFI upgrade. Had to use my own Hot Spot to take meetings. The Front Desk issued me a refund right away. They were also able to accommodate a late check out for me, super helpful.

Quick overnight stay while visiting family in the area. Convenient location. Check in was seamless, friendly and effecient staff. Room was clean as were the halls and common areas. Pleasantly suprised for what is basically a 2 star motel.

Great place. We only stayed one night and had animals and this hotel allowed our animals.
