Celay Hotel

Amazing hotel, incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive staff who will go the extra mile, especially Yunus. Extremely clean hotel with stunning views of the mountains all around and great relaxed happy atmosphere. Fantastic value for money. The bar serves drinks until 2am and food is served until 10pm but they'll even make you a sandwich after that time if you're hungry. Staff will pump up inflatables for free for you to use in the pools, which are open from 8am-8pm. You can get the minibus to Oludeniz, a stunning beach with blue sea, or Fethiye, a harbour town, for just 35 Turkish lira (£1). You can also get taxis from just outside the hotel and there are lots of other beaches and towns to explore in the local area. There are loads of beautiful places and things to do in the area - boat trips, Turkish baths, paragliding, walking, shopping etc. The area is lovely and we always felt very safe as two female young adults out on our own. There were lots of older English people staying at the hotel at the same time as us which we liked. The only downsides I can think of are that the WiFi does not extend to the rooms but is fine around the bar and pool, there were only two plug sockets in our room, the safe boxes are near reception which cost £2 per day and if you want air con you have to pay for that too. The pros massively outweigh the cons and I recommend this hotel to anyone. I definitely plan on coming back! My new favourite place

nice pool area, rooms basic but clean, bar area is nice but lacks a bit of atmosphere. ordering system for food/drinks needs looked at, we were paying as we ordered however one night got presented with a bill for the items we had already paid for, was rectified but put us off, dont see why they need your room number wouldn’t it be easier to give table numbers to prevent confusion as to who has paid upfront and who has a tab. has potential if a bit more entertainment was available.also a fridge in the rooms would be good!

These scam artists expect you to pay 5% card transaction fee, £5 per night air conditioning fee, and when they run out of standard rooms left and give you so called deluxe room they expect you two pay £20 per night for something out of your control! I strongly suggest anybody looking to spend any time here to simply look away and go to the Monte Verde instead. Dick Turpin has nothing on these guys !!!

Just returned home from the Celay, and everything was amazing, hotel staff polite and very helpful, food was amazing we went half board, three course meal and changed every day, breakfast was nice. Already booked for may next year !!!!!!!!

2nd time there this year, was as good as the previous, hotel is very clean and for a small hotel has an amazing swimming pool. Staff cannot do enough for you, very friendly and make you feel so relaxed, like you are on holiday LOL Management team are also amazing people.

The celay hotel is brilliant, staff are helpful and freindly, if half board dinner is a 3 course meal which is changed daily. 2 Swimming pools which are clean. Very good priced drinks or extra food. Only set back is air con seems to lack power and costs a extra £5 a day

We had a wonderful relaxing 12 night break at the Celay. Our third visit and already booked for September. Izzy , Orhan and the team went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely time. Great hotel with fabulous staff.. Phil, Janice, Pat & Terry

Just got back from 3weeks at the Celay Hotel.... Fantastic hotel but in my eyes a few tweaks here and there and this could be 10 times better..... This hotel has repeat guests, myself being one of them ( my 2nd time )... The hotel is fantastically run, staff work tirelessly, rooms clean, bed comfortable and shower was mint.... But just a few points in my eyes which they could improve on.... Brekkie...... Yes we all know it's a Turkish breakfast, cheese, boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit and cereal..... This does get a little boring though..... If they did a variety of eggs, scrambled, fried or poached would be acceptable or even some beans just rotate it and this could be done...... Fridges.... Yes I knew from my 1st stay that there is no fridge in your room, but going forward I really think they need to change this. It doesn't have to be a large fridge just something to put a little bottle of water in, and for some medication ( as I know some where on these.) yes you can leave em in the bar fridge overnight but I'm sure guests would prefer one in the room...... Bar... This was sometimes hit and miss regarding how cold the drinks were.... Numerous times I had to say to staff to turn the fridge up, as you all know after a baking hot day round the pool you want an ice cold beer or coke, Fanta etc..... Also one day the ice machine wasn't working which is unacceptable, you send someone to get bags of it from the shop down the road also the milkshake machine has been broke for a week AGAIN unacceptable for a PAYING customer..... I did mention this but the answer I got was we've sent it away.... No you buy one or make sure it's fixed ASAP...... Also I was told the manager wasn't around to authorise such transactions, sorry but if I'm at work and my manager isn't in WORK doesn't stop..... So standards have dropped this year in my eyes..... If these things were taken on board this hotel WOULD be fantastic, but all I ever got was deaf ears...... I just think it's take, take, take and if there is a problem they just shrug it off......

Just returned from 10 nights at the Celay Hotel. This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and each time has been amazing. We stayed in the Deluxe Appartments which were spotless and have a pool view. The food and drink is brilliant and reasonably priced. We need to praise all the staff for being so friendly and helpful, but especially Izzy and George, nothing was to much for them and helped me celebrate my 50th in style. The hotel owners are around the pool most of the day and always checking if everyone is OK. I highly recommend this hotel if you like tranquil peace and quiet and its a short walk in to Ovacik. It's a 3 star hotel but in my eyes it should be a 4 star for all the effort all the staff put in. Thanks Celay, seen you soon ❤️ 🇹🇷 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
