this property was not at all how it looked in the photos.
the pool was dirty and cramped feeling and our room had a bad bathroom, bad window coverings and a bad patio area which made us feel as though we wanted to leave a few hours after arriving

It's always a pleasure staying here, its become a yearly ritual for our Anniversary and mothers day. Our unit is always clean, well stocked and fresh! We love the quick and easy check in (no waiting in line for a room key, or scrambling through my purse trying to find room key) we just check-in via text and we get out digital code for entry gate and our room, makes it so convenient. And last but not least, it's pet friendly, so our fur baby always goes with us. I almost wanted to keep it a secret, but I'm a very selfless person, so I've shared location with family and friends who absolutely love The Talavera! Our second visit was as perfect as the first. We have fallen in love with the Talavera. Perfect balance of luxury, cleanliness in a beautiful setting. Amazingly quiet with a short walk to numerous restaurants,shops and the art museum. We switched from the ranch to the Sunflower room this year. Less garden space but a dining and kitchenette area. Hoping to return next year Steps away from the main pool.

Nice private hot tub & location. Bed and pillows need updating. Thin walls. Adjoining suite had a whining dog that the guests had left in the room. Overpriced.

It's not a resort, a hotel, or an air bnb, but it is the best of all of those things together. We were walking distance from everything, but we used the bicycles one day for fun. The grounds are quiet and peaceful around the perfect pools. Everything is clean and spacious and secluded. Each room is private and decorated beautifully.

My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend here. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. We will be returning here.

We stayed at the Fountain. Perfect for a couple’s anniversary! No direct access to the pools but I preferred it. The room was great! The vibe was calm and relaxing. Each room had strong AC. The pools were nice. Felt like a forgotten bath. The bed was a little firm but that’s just personal preference. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had to wait for our room to be ready because the previous residents added an extended checkout. Would have been helpful to get a text beforehand.

The vibe and energy in this hotel is exactly what we were looking for. The room we stayed in had an amazing patio and hot tub. The pool is also a great hang out spot. Def recommend this hotel and we are going back soon!

We loved how quiet and tranquil the beautiful lush green and flowers everywhere. The view of the mountains was phenomenal. The floor fire pit was a nice touch in the morning and evening. Great music at the pool. The casita was comfortable but one suggestion which we would have enjoyed is a tv in our bedroom. Everything else was perfect! We will be back!
