La Cuadra by Wynwood House

Fantastic Choice on the edge of Casco Viejo. About 1 block of a 'dicey' neighborhood, to get to Plaza Herrera. We did not feel unsafe at all. The restaurant on the first floor is probably the best restaurant in Panama! Aya Vida is spectacular....what a fantastic surprise. Just a bit of constructive criticism: We were two couples, with a two bedroom, 2 bath apartment. There were no toiletries for the 2nd bathroom. The front desk cannot do anything to help you with amenities. Towels were sp****, would have been great to have a couple more. The rooftop pool was just excellent, however, no towels, so we used our shower towels for the pool and then dried them. It would be great if there were a simple welcome booklet with some option so ask for additional items. the communication was a bit lacking. Having said all this, we had a fantastic stay......incredible bargain pricing, we loved the apartment, the rooftop, and our entire stay. We will stay here again when coming to Panama! The building is beautiful. The room was so nice. We had the roof top pool all to ourselves. The staff was awesome. Unfortunately our room was on the first floor and had a terrible view. Had I known I would of upgraded.

Everything was perfect, apartment was very nice and clean, the stuff at la cuadra was very nice. However I felt like the building is right in the end of casco viejo and felt a bit unsafe even though there was police officers around the building at all times. Overall a good experience, recommend it.
