Hotel Henri IV Rive Gauche

Great hotel and in the heart of Paris! Sabrina the GM was most helpful. Could see the Eiffel Tower from the room! I would recommend this hotel and would stay there if I came back to Paris There was a Boulangerie just around the corner for a Blanc Jamon roll and a cafe Noisette (piccolo) every morning

OVERPRICED. The inside is okay. The issue is for the cost you get very little. Was not informed at breakfast there would be an additional charge of £25, for some coffee and toast. Found out while on eurostar home. None of the staff spoke at all during our stay, to us or any of the guests. The rooms came with no kettle, no coffee or tea , nothing buy shampoo. We are a young couple who travel a lot for work and pleasure. Save yourself the cash , go stay at a cheaper hotel.

Would not recommend dealing with this property. We were not able to fulfil our booking since our child contracted chickenpox which meant that we were not allowed to be in public areas for a week for the risk of infecting high risk individuals. We had to reschedule our entire trip to Paris. We contacted the property to look at how they can support us in this unpredictable and unintentional medical situation- considering we already paid the full price to the property. They will not willing to look at ways to support rescheduling our stay or provided any alternative options. We were even willing to pay a fee to change the dates.In summary- They were willing to just take out money, without providing ANY service in return.

Rooms are clean and a decent size for the centre of Paris. Breakfast is an optional extra and is a fairly basic continental breakfast - good coffee but no marmalde to go on the toast. The location is excellent for the river and there is a Batobus stop within a few minutes walk. It is also an excellent location for enjoying the delights of the Latin Quarter in the evening. The main man on reception during our visit was Samba and he was delightful - helpful and courteous at all times.

Fabulous hotel. Stunning views. Amazing location. So many wonderful places to eat locally. And great for all the tourist top spots. Super clean. All the staff were really helpful and in addition provided us with umbrellas to use as it was rather rainy in Paris during our stay. Would highly recommend and would hope to stay here again if visiting Paris.

We had an overnight layover in Paris on the way home from Norway to Los Angeles. The Hotel Henri IV was located in the center of Paris, perfect for a short visit. We were able to walk to all the tourist sections and we had many fine restaurants around the corner. The river was a minute’s walk away. Despite the great location, the price was very affordable. And the room was very quiet and comfortable for a good night’s sleep before our long flight back home.

We stayed 2 days in the hotel. The hotel is in Excellent location. Just next to Notradame St.Mitchel. Very good staff. Rooms are really good and comfortable, clean. Special thanks goes to Mr.Zaid who's working in front office doing our all the reservations. He is doing a fantastic job. Thank you very much for all the staff

I enjoyed my stay! My room was ready ahead of schedule, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Super close to the Seine and Notre Dame. Easy to get anywhere in Paris!

Please note that just because the listing states that you will have a view doesn’t mean you will get one. The room I booked stated that it would have a view in the listing and I was excited about it because the photos from other guests looked amazing. We got there and there was no view. I went to ask the reception and showed them my booking and the man at the reception told me that it was my fault for not specifying in the notes that I wanted a view. The manager said the same, but with a little more empathy and essentially blamed ******* for how they listed the property. I later found out that they are remodeling the rooms and so the room that I likely reserved was not available. It was very underhanded for them to try and blame me for them doing a bait and switch. The rooms are also a little run down but it appears that they are already addressing that. The location is phenomenal, although Ubers often found it challenging to get to us when the area got busier.
