The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet wooded setting surrounded by a nice garden with deck, garden furniture, BBQ and wood fire pit area. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second and third bedrooms have queen beds and the family room has a queen size Murphy bed. The open kitchen, dining and living area features table seating for eight people, couches and a cozy gas fire place. There is a laundry/mud room with washer and dryer, an attached garage as well as a carport. The house is furnished with linens, towels, bedding, a Wifi connection and a fully stocked kitchen. The Crystal River Ranch community offers several walking trails, a playground, a meadow with horse stables, a community center and a local herd of elk wandering the grounds. There are no businesses in the Crystal River Ranch but a few stores and one dining/tavern option are two miles west in Greenwater. The cabin is less than a mile to the entry gate of Mt Rainier. Ashford is a rural and remote community. The power grid and wi-fi can be affected by stormy weather conditions (especially in the winter). If the power and Wi-Fi go down, we encourage everyone to enjoy the disconnect time with family and friends and take advantage of the slow down. We have a wood burning fireplace for heat, and candles to play board games with.Ashford can be snowy and icy at times and chains are required in your car when driving to paradise in the winter.
