Travelodge Poole

My wife and I stayed here for four nights over the early May bank holiday. The receptionist was excellent and the room clean and comfortable. The location is a 10 minutes walk to the quay and you are close to the bus routes. Our room was quiet and overlooked the car park and bay. The only downside was that the room was very warm and I would imagine this would be very hot in summer (no air conditioning). Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Definitely one of the better Travelodges we have stayed at.

We’ve stayed in Poole Travelodge last night and I must to say it was decent experience. Clean and tidy room for four of us with comfy beds in attractive price. What else to ask for:) Iwona at reception was ever so friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay there again!

Despite a slight error, quickly resolved by very helpful and efficient staff, this is a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. There's a nicely designed bar and restaurant, which served a really good buffet breakfast, which was well cooked and hadn't dried out. There's free parking, which is a pleasant surprise considering the location is quite central. The Quay is only a 10 minute walk away and has a great choice of restaurants.

Not an ideal location to manhandle luggage from car park. Only 1 lift working to reception. Staff appear to be struggling to cope. New staff not supervised. Room needed a good carpet cleaning. No housekeeping visible in a 3 night stay. Door keys stopped working more than once. Coffee machine at breakfast was not maintained. No fruit selection.

This is the best hotel for central Poole. Friendly staff, in particular Sachin who helped us sort out a booking issue. Recommended for holiday makers, business users or just as a stopover. Short walk into town, to the old quay, with an ASDA open till midnight and free parking.

Our stay at Poole Travelodge was very enjoyable, staff were very polite, room was very clean, and quite, had a very good nights sleep.

There was only 30% og breakfast items ready. Getting seated was difficult. Tables were occupied or not cleared.

I had made a mistake with my booking which was brought to light on arrival and both iwona and alicja amended this for us and prevented a lot of stress. They went above and beyond!
