Argentario Lagoon Resort & Spa

hotel is somewhat secluded but 15 minutes or less from any major attractions. They offer free pick up and drop off at nearby beaches, restaurants, train stations, and towns. The hotel’s restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. They have two pools, indoor and outdoor. The staff were all very friendly and professional. They were always ready to help. Maria, the front desk girl, helped us book our dinner reservations, beach trips, and town visits. She was always very polite and professional. Simone also worked at the front desk, and he also helped us get to town by driving us and picking us up whenever we called. He as well was always kind and professional. Never saw him without a smile. Yoez was another of the drivers. He recommended a pizza spot for us to try. The pizza place is named Phermento. Best pizza I had in Italy. He also always smiled and would always say hello whenever he saw us. Overall, all the staff was terrific and showed care to make us comfortable and happy.

In a location that is tough without a car. Doesn’t quite have the amenities of a 5 star resort. The restaurant food is salty. Great breakfast though. The amenities just didn’t pop, and the resort nickels and dimes you throughout your stay.

I stayed at Argentario Lagoon resort in July for 1 week, with some friends. The resort is absolutely stunning, immersed in a green paradise. The perfect location for those who want to get some break from stressful city lives. The staff is very friendly and eager to help in every situation. Pearl of the resort is the restaurant, you can enjoy delicious meals meticulously prepared by the chef Gabriele. All in all, 5 stars with no doubt!!! I’ll be back soon for sure!!

We stayed here for three nights recently and enjoyed ourselves. My husband, daughter and I had a suite. This was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Check-in was quite friendly but slightly chaotic for a hotel of this standard and price range. It did not feel 100% professional, rather chatty/hit and miss with some information being forgotten/glossed over. As other reviewers have mentioned, the pool is amazing and really relaxing. We loved our time spent around it and the shady areas were appreciated. It was the best part of the hotel. At times, some guests had just left towels on the loungers so it wasn't always clear which ones were available - a pet hate of mine since I love to be in the shade. My husband said the gym was a bit dated but ok. We didn't use the spa area. Generally, there are areas around which are now becoming slightly dated and in need of maintenance. Everything was ok for us but again with the level of the hotel and high prices, everything should be perfect. E.g. there were some broken floor tiles, corridor lights not working. The restaurant was expensive but the service was attentive and we enjoyed the food. We received only ate once at the hotel for one evening given the high prices and enjoyed discovering additional places in the nearby towns. The hotel did not feel covid-secure overall. Staff hurriedly pulled their masks up when we approached the reception desk and the manager (I think?) rode about the hotel on the scooter without a mask and walked through corridors without a mask. Mask wearing was not enforced in the restaurant though almost all guests wore them inside when collecting food from the buffet. There were big bowls of chopped fruit with spoons and knives to cut break which any quest could use. I felt this was not so secure and felt uncomfortable with this. Other hotels we stayed at during our Tuscan holiday changed have bought dishes to the table to avoid exactly this risk. As other measures were not happening, I did not feel I would be taken seriously if would mention these concerns to staff.

Sono stato con amici una sera al ristorante ELLE del Resort. Menù pur con un ventaglio di scelte non ampio, cucinato in modo magistrale. Abbiamo cenato con tartare e ottimi primi. Il Maitre Carlo ci ha fatti sentire coccolati ed è stato perfetto, discreto ma sempre presente al momento giusto. Ottimi i suoi consigli e l'after dinner preparato al nostro tavolo. Tutto magnifico. Prezzi nella norma dei buoni Fine Dining. Consigliatissimo.

Struttura eccellente così come l'ospitalità con cui siamo stati accolti. Cortesia, professionalità, giovialità sono state le note dominanti di tutto lo staff. La camera 301 aveva tutti i comfort tra cui la vasca idromassaggio nel patio antistante la camera con vista panoramica. Siamo certi di ritornare. Ringraziamo tutti del nostro splendido soggiorno.

Ho soggiornato dal 22 al 25 aprile, resort molto curato e immerso nel verde. Consiglio vivamente L uso della spa interna anche se le acque erano molto calde. Camere ampie e molto luminose. Torneremo

Siamo rimasti delusi dalla struttura nel suo complesso. L'albergo rimane infossato, con poca ventilazione e non gode di alcuna vista particolare; non sembra nemmeno di stare all'Argentario. A pranzo a bordo piscina abbiamo visto i camerieri che si chiamano fischiando ed in generale poca professionalità e cortesia. La doccia della piscina è infestata di vespe che si trovano anche nel prato circostante dove sono posizionati i lettini. Le stanze 102 e 103 non dovrebbero essere neppure vendute in quanto si trovano davanti alla porta posteriore della cucina e a 3 m dal ristorante dove la mattina si fa anche colazione. Il risultato è che dalle 08.00 in poi si viene svegliati dai rumori provenienti sia dalla cucina che dagli ospiti che fanno colazione. I prezzi peraltro sono molto alti rispetto al tipo di struttura che certamente non merita 5 stelle.
