Of all the employees at the resort two stood out above the rest for their courteous, professional efforts. Aidan at the front desk was super helpful and attentive. He helped us navigate our outings with his local knowledge. When we had an issue with our room he was very helpful. Andrea at the Palapa restaurant was super efficient at seating us with a kind smile. No matter how busy it was she always greeted each group in a kind welcoming non rushed way. Bravo

Would not recommend this property to anyone! We decided to stay at the Club Paradise from the 6-12th of January after reading all the good reviews on this place and thought well this would be perfect for us with our family of 5. Well we were wrong, this place is so run down and outdated. The rooms need major upgrading to them. We ending up booking for the family suite and it was so tiny especially for a family so we had to end up paying more to get upgraded to a suite. Before making the decision on getting a suite we looked at one and the first thing I saw in the room was a cockroach so we decided to look at another and decided on that one. The food is gross and is always the same thing each day and it is cold, not ever warm just plan cold. The drinks aren’t even that good as well. Oh and don’t even try to get into there restaurants as they all have to be reserved the day of and on their app which is only open from 9-12 and if you don’t get on it at the very time they open the reservations nice try on getting a table at any of the restaurants, this also doesn’t make any sense as each time we walked past those restaurants during dinner time they hardly had anyone in there! The pools are all cold and not nice to be in. They have one swim up bar but it’s only for adults and it’s actually a big hot tub. It’s very over ran by Mexicans, there wasn’t many Canadians there. Each person we ran into had the same feelings as us about this property and were very upset about the place. They either need to shut down and do major upgrading or lower their star rating. This is not a 4 star resort this is like a 1 star resort. They don’t have anything going on during the day for kids to do and they only do shows for kids at like 8 or 9 at night which does not work when you have very little kids. They also have raccoons there that roam the resort at night and have a home over by the suites which is disgusting and not good especially if they become aggressive towards anyone. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I don’t understand why so many people think this is a great place because it is not.

Understaffed company, therefore little to no quality service. Clean rooms, poor food. I recommend coming here for the Beaches and using it as a way to go to other touristic places. Drinks are poorly done as well the food. Employee conversations were disgusting, publicly shaming their employees.

Very nice resort. The beach is lovely. Juan Rodríguez and Daniel in the buffet were the best wait staff ever. They were friendly, attentive and provided excellent service during our 10 day stay. The room was great. Very clean. My only issue was the elevator wasn’t working. We were on the fourth floor and it was quite a trek up and down. It didn’t get fixed by the time we left. If you have mobility problems you may want to check this before your stay. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience.

I was a little worried after reading all the horrible 1 star reviews but we had a great trip! This is definitely a family friendly resort that caters to kids. All the staff was friendly and hard working. Most workers spoke enough English that we didn’t have trouble communicating with anyone except in the kids club. The resort is about 98% locals which we were surprised about. We were hoping our kids could find a few friends to play with but no such luck. We booked the a La carte restaurants right at 9am as people recommended and had no trouble getting in. They were all great, food was excellent. We also liked the house white but you can order different wine at a charge. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked great. Only downside was the beds were doubles which made things a bit tight but just meant extra snuggling. We would recommend a room on an upper floor which was quiet for us. The resort is a little run down but they are doing improvements. It is definitely not a 5 star, more a 3.5, so perhaps the bad reviews were expecting something else. The pool water was warm and clean. The kids pool with the pirate ship was a huge hit for our 2 kids that are under 5 years old. Buffet had lots of choice and was sanitary. It could take a while for drinks at the bar but you’re in Mexico so enjoy the wait. If you are coming for a luxury vacation then you will be disappointed but if you are coming for fun in the sun with your kids, then you should have a great time. Pros - friendly staff - Very kid friendly - Clean - Warm pool!!! - Pirate ship is awesome!!! - Kids drinks - Food Cons - dated/ a little run down - Hard to communicate with women in kids club - Sometimes the music was a bit sad 😂 - Have to wait a long time for a drink Tips - order doubles 😂 - Bring an insulated cup - they will fill them - Ask for a quiet room or on upper floor

Great time, loved the location of our room, close to the beach. Great family place with the kid’s zone. The buffet food appeared hot, but much of the food was not. Had an upgrade to use the Adult only Crown Paradise down the walkway. Rooftop view of the sunset over the water was a treat. Easily took the city bus to pickleball numerous times at a great facility. Araceli, the concierge, aimed to please, and she did. Xoxo
