Most amazing place. It's like being in another world. We absolutely loved our time here and wish we stayed longer. Rooms were fabulous and so was everything else about this stay. We would love to go back. Highly recommend this. Don't miss it!

Amazing! The best hotel on the River Kwai. If you have to chance go! And if you are lucky you will be helped by Kha. He is amazing and is their 24/7 to look after you. Kha really knows everything and helps you to understand the culture and village of his 25!! families. Very well combined with a trip to Bangkok

This place is visually stunning even before you arrive since you are ferried to the resort by longboat. The rooms are beautiful each with a floating patio on the river in the jungle. The restaurant was excellent as well. We enjoyed a float along the river. Highly recommended!

We went for a quick weekend getaway from Bangkok to relax and get out of the city. This is an excellent place to do that. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Each room has a deck facing the river where you can sit and enjoy nature or watch the long tail boats passing. The staff of this resort really go above and beyond to make your stay perfect in every aspect. My highest recommendation for this place. Great food, great rooms, great location and most of all…. Great staff! We will be back to this fantastic spot for a relaxing romantic weekend again soon. Big Thank You to the staff for making our weekend getaway wonderful.

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. A floating hotel, build with local building materials on the banks of the famous river Kwai. The villas are a great experience, with balcony's overlooking the river. The mornings spend on the balcony, sipping coffee and watching the sun rise is a sublime experience

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed floating on the river surrounded by nature. The rooms are beautifully decorated and bed was comfortable but the air conditioning wasn’t effective and didn’t cool us down after a long day of sightseeing. Also there was no hot water in the washbasin and very little flow. Breakfast was a buffet with a reasonable choice and staff were attentive and friendly. The dinners (a la carte) were adequate but could have been higher quality for the price. Being so isolated there is no competition. The location is stunning and arriving/departing by boat was a novelty. If you have a mobility problem try to avoid a long-tail boat and ask to travel in a more comfortable alternative. The low freeboard of the long-tail made is quite difficult for me (with knee problems) to embark and disembark. The hotel is very convenient for visiting Hellfire Pass and Erawan National Park waterfall.

This is the prettiest hotel you will ever see! It’s so nice being right on the water. The beds are comfortable and the food is great. The staff here were all really good. This is a nice place for couples or families who want to be somewhere quiet and relaxing.

OMG! Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined an experience like this. It’s just cool, and I’m not even going to try to describe it. Yep, it is truly indescribable, and while the photos on the website are representative, you simply got to see it to believe it. From the wonderful buffet breakfast to the 10 minute boat ride back to the pier and the historically important visit to the death railway and waterfall. We are so grateful that Audley recommended this leg of our trip.

We came here just for one night. But… everything was excellent. The room in floating house in the river Kwai is a must be experience. The service is outstanding. We wnet to tein hotel for a night shownby boat. The donner we had was great. The hotel stuff is very helpful and nice. We really loved the stay there.

Stayed for two nights in The Floathouse and were very impressed m. Our guide, Simon, was fantastic - always on hand if we needed something, great on our excursions and all arrangements ran seamlessly. The rooms are beautiful with a spacious outdoor section. The ‘movement’ from the water is not an issue ….. takes a little getting used to the sound of the waves in the night but that’s very much a first world problem! Food was excellent, massage even better!! A path at the back of the property leads you up on your the land where you can explore with/ without bicycles. The Lawa cave is well worth a visit and there are some beautiful planted gardens to walk through. The Mon village tour is decent if your guide is good ….. we were worried we’d have children/ locals paraded in front of us for our entertainment but it’s not like that at all. All in all, a great way to spend a couple of nights in this part of Thailand. Highly recommended.

Even more beautiful than I expected. The room was spectacular! So gorgeous right on the river and a very cool experience. I never wanted to leave. Really enjoyed the rocking of the bed as waves came in. Everything was very clean and the staff were so helpful and sweet.

Very good stay, beautiful hotel and rooms.
The restaurant is also good.
Massage very expensive, then I don't expect to have to lie on the sweaty towel of a previous customer, really a no-go.
Furthermore, this resort is definitely recommended!

A really special and unique place. We booked two villas (adjoining) for a one night stay and we all loved it (family of 5 - three teenagers - I wouldn’t stay with youngsters due to the river). The location is fantastic, you feel so removed from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The villas are spacious and comfy with their own sun decks which you can jump into the fast flowing river (wearing life vests!!) and float to the end of the hotel before getting out. Hours of fun. The buffet dinner was delicious and the drinks are reasonably priced). We cycled to the lawa caves (make sure to take 300THB an adult, 150THB a child), and whilst it was a bit out of my comfort zone and very hot, it was a good experience. There is noise from the river (obviously) all night so bring earplugs if this would bother you. The WiFi was good and they had chargers that you just needed usb cables for which was great. Highly recommend! We have booked a boat to take us for a stay at Hinton River Camp further up. The hotel booked our transfers for us.
