Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District

The location was great. The staff was helpful. Valet parking was a must for me because I didn’t want to have to look for parking in the parking garage across the street. The room didn’t get cool enough for me, but I prefer it to be really cool when I sleep. We could hear water running in other rooms but luckily it wasn’t when we were sleeping.

Loved the details about the pet policies. They even had an emergency hospital listed just in case… great idea!

The longest part of checking in is the valet service. Prepare to pay $40 a night or find parking on the street & pay there. Also there is no parking if you have a trailer with you.Front desk was a dream to deal with. Beds were so comfortable & room was clean. Breakfast was very good. Location is great!!!

Our stay at the Hampton Inn was very comfortable. The room was small but comfortable with a nice bed. Check in was very good with Marie at the front desk. She was very nice, professional, and effecient. A warning about parking though. Parking for registration is a mess. There is room for only 4 cars off a very busy street. When we arrived there were 8 cars lined up in the street to get into the parking area for registration. They offer valet parking at a pretty expensive price ($45 per night) and you have to sit in line on the street until there is room to move your car to be parked. There is a public parking garage across the street we were directed to and after sitting in line found that it is monthly parking only. I then had to go back to the desk to let them know that and was told there is another garage down the street. We went there and found it very crowded and after driving up all 7 floor finally found a spot on the roof. Their daily charge is $28.00. Breakfast is your usual fare but was fresh. I would recommend this hotel for the service and room but would not go back due to parking.

This Hampton Inn was surprisingly nice! Check in was a Breeze and the receptionist was friendly. We used valet parking and they were very nice and friendly as well. The best was the concierge by the name of Cate! So informative and booked our dinner reservations and our hop on trolley. I’m glad she was there when we checked in because the Saturday concierge was lacking…. Impressed with the breakfast and the space for breakfast! The location was great just a stones walk down to the riverfront area. Only negatives, our ice machine not working on our floor. Our shower had only Luke warm water, yet our friends 3 floors up had nice hot water! Overall would definitely stay there again!

Location was amazing and the hotel lobby was warm and inviting. Good coffee and breakfast.

Wanted to get away for a few days to stay in our favorite city and island(Tybee). It was cold, but loved walking River Street, the restaurants very close by and we took a day trip to Tybee Island. It was wonderful.

Our semi annual night over coming and going to visit family/children. Consistently very good and reasonable.

The staff was helpful and offered assistance, sometimes even before we knew we would need assistance!
