We stayed here for one night. I loved their customer service, it was extremely warm and welcoming, and I think it was one of the best experiences during my stay in Yunnan. We were greeted with a special welcome tea, invited to have breakfast since we arrived early, and the staff responded very quickly to our questions via WeChat. We truly appreciated it. Another plus is the convenient location, just a few minutes’ walk to the ancient city.

This is a smart hotel equipped with sensor lighting, oxygen air, etc. It’s clean and spacious. The downsides of this hotel is that rooms were not ready when we arrived at 2pm. We barely got one room at 2:30pm and the other was not ready when we left at 3pm. Another issue is one of room oxygen air was cut off in the middle of the nite and my aged parents don’t know what to do and ended by suffering bit of the high altitude sickness.

Clean and spacious room. Great services. Perhaps coz my room is near the cleaners storeroom.. so at night (11 plus...) can hear the loud packing and trolley movement outside the room. Also, the room is near the lift and smoking is allowed. Thus, smoke smell got into the room.. toilet doors are almost transparent.. so not suggested for family or groups..

It was super super. Everything was very nice. We love to visit again Shangri-la and stay Z hotel. Specially love the lady fm front desk who helped us a lot.

Although near the Dukezong ancient city, still requires at least 20 minutes walk. Nearby there is convenient store & a few restaurant. Reception staff are welcoming & warm. Breakfast is ok, however there is no jam or butter for the bread. The kitchen staff told us to use the salad sauce as spread. We stayed 2 nights & in the middle of the 2nd night, the oxygen suddenly went off. Called the reception & was told to remove the room card for 3 minutes to reset. Oxygen resumed after the reset. Another hiccup was the laundry. We booked 2 rooms & sent to bags of clothes for laundry but the male receptionist forgot 1 of the bag & it was not done when we came back in the evening.

This is the best hotel in our China trip in 2025. The room is modern and very clean, equiped with oxygen supply. Excellent service. The girls at reception is very service mind and make our stay goes very smoothly.

Overall good and clean stay, but they only prepared the room for two persons despite indicating 4 persons on trip.com. Staff also forgot to help us arrange transport to station but told my friends that I didn't reply lolz 🤣

The room is so spacious and nice, free sweet soup and fruits and the hotel service is awesome!

Room service good, welcome drink & biscuit taste nice

Room exceeded our expectation. Bed was so comfortable that i slept throughout the 2nights stay. washroom and bathroom was seperated. with a total of 2 washroom and 2 bathroom for our room configuration. this helped save a lot of time for a family of 3 travellers. condition wise, i will give it 10/10 as we are very particular about hygiene in washroom. hotel staff was so friendly and regrettable that i didnt got her name to mention her here. Thank you for helping in luggages during checkin and checkout and making our stay a pleasant one.

Review from Malaysian I would say this hotel is absolutely fantastic! The environment deserves 5 stars. We were served a welcome drink and dessert upon check-in, and at night, we enjoyed a comforting sweet ginger soup. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices. The receptionists were incredibly helpful and friendly—they even assisted with our luggage despite having a lift. My 3-year-old son loved this place so much that he asked to stay longer. He was also delighted to receive a pack of cheese snacks from the receptionist. Truly a wonderful experience!
