Guesthouse Villa Vice

An awful experience with the owners. No breakfast offered (despite SMS confirmation from the owner)we knew we would need to pay for it but were told by the owner we were misinformed. The room was ok- clean but dated. We are in our 70s and were not prepared to go on a daily breakfast hunt so we checked out after 1 night. Once home we spoke to *********** who were told by the owners we were liars and a ‘no show’ this despite one of them meeting us at the airport! We provided photographic evidence of our stay; *********** then told us to ‘reach out’ to the owners to see if they would agree to a refund. Husband phoned them and was met by a torrent of abuse and shouting, he was unable to get a word in edgeways. *********** now seem unable or unwilling to help us, despite us paying them directly and not the owners. Villa Vice is an extremely bad example of a B&B, the owners are rude and very abusive completely lacking in any aspect of customer care, *********** are simply useless.

Our big mistake was that we booked in for a 4 night stay expecting breakfast as advertised and as per messages with the owners. The owner Gordan Fabjanac picked us up from the airport and checked us in telling us ‘no breakfast available’. As pensioners we were not happy to go on a breakfast hunt every day so we checked out after one night. We were informed the Fabjanac’s had said we were a no show at the property! We called the property as instructed by Booking for my husband to be abused by Ivana Fabjanac. These people are abusive liars and are not fit to let out a property to unsuspecting clients. We received goodwill payment of £150 from *********** but the Fabjanacs still owe us £200. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

Great stay. Perfect location. 10 min from old city, 10 min from Bacvice beach, 5 minutes from bakery and market. Basic and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. Ivana, our host was easily accessible via WhatsApp. She organised a pick up from the airport and we could leave our bags on the lobby on our last day when we went for a swim. My wife and I will definitely stay here again.

We had a lot of requests to provide our arrival time at Villa Vice as the reception is usually not attended. We arrived and we were met by a young man who gave us details about the parking (which has to be booked in advance), gave us a map and showed us to our room (no 7). We were told that if we needed anything we could call.  We had booked a deluxe room as we were staying for 7 nights. The room was spacious, nicely decorated with good hanging space and hooks, a TV, a good size fridge, kettle, a table and seating, a desk, a balcony. The bed seemed a bit firm but comfortable enough. The bathroom was spacious with good hot water, heated towel rail, and hairdryer. There was liquid soap supplied. Villa Vice is around 20 minutes/1.5km walk to the edge of the old town/Palace area of Split. It was a pleasant residential neighbourhood and very quiet. We don't mind walking so it was fine for us. In the area there were supermarkets and some places to eat. I had made enquiries about the breakfast and it was explained that it cost 12 euros per person per day. What I was not told was that during our stay it would not be available, so I was very surprised when we were informed on arrival. This was very disappointing as it meant that we had to either go out or buy some things from the supermarket/bakery every day before we went out sightseeing.  Apparently breakfast is served during season in the garden, which looked lovely. Overall we had a nice stay but we probably wouldn't have chosen to stay somewhere for a week that did not offer breakfast.

Situata in un quartiere residenziale molto tranquillo a 10 minuti a piedi dal Palazzo di Diocleziano. Camera ampia, molto pulita, dotata di ottimo wifi, aria condizionata e frigo. Balconcino con sdraio e tavolino per rilassarsi. Bagno ampio, moderno e con finestra. Proprietaria e ragazza addetta alla reception attente, gentili e disponibili. Ci hanno permesso di lasciare l'auto nel loro parcheggio la mattina presto appena scesi dal traghetto, anche se la camera (giustamente) non era ancora disponibile. Se proprio vogliamo dire, forse un po' caro il parcheggio (12 euro a notte), ma la Croazia ormai ha prezzi folli.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Spalato per tre giorni in questo b&b e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La camera era più spaziosa del previsto, essendo bassa stagione ci ha dato una Deluxe (bella sorpresa),pulita con un bagno grande e un bel balcone. La zona è molto tranquilla, la città vecchia dista circa 10 minuti a piedi e nelle vicinanze è possibile trovare bar, supermercati e ristoranti. Arrivando in auto abbiamo parcheggiato sulla strada ,per poter parcheggiare all' interno della struttura è necessaria la prenotazione. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima,ci ha dato molte informazioni utili per la visita alla città,in più ci ha consigliato i ristoranti per la sera. Assolutamente consigliato.

Schone kamer op korte loopafstand van het oude centrum. Goede airco die geen lawaai maakt. Bed iets te zacht matras, waardoor je niet stabiel kan liggen. Ontbijt in buffetvorm, op te eten op het terras dat via een trap te bereiken is. Verse broodjes , sap, eieren, fruit, voor ons een prima ontbijt. Aardige jonge vrouw als gastvrouw die je informatie kan geven over de stad. Wij hadden de kamer naast de ingang, wat gehorig als daar mensen in de ontbijtruimte komen.

從6月4日起我們在這裏住了10天，每一秒鐘都過得很愉快。房間很小，但維護得很好，每天都有被打掃。工作人員非常友好，特別是我們的女服務員馬里亞娜盡其所能地幫助我們。
