OWNER ALEXI WAS A GREAT HOST HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TAKING OUR LUGGAGE TO AND FRO TO OUR ROOM AS THE ROOM WE HAD HAD THE BEST VIEWS BUT THE STEEPEST STAIRS TO CLIMB.......DELICIOUS BREAKFAST FRESH HOME MADE EGGS JAMS JUICES BREAD!! HE ORGANISED A TAXIS BOOKED US IN ALL THE BEST AUTHENTIC GREEK RESTUARANTS BEACHES AND TOURS TO GO THE ROOM WAS AIRCONDITIONED VERY CLEAN THE BED AND PILLOWS COMFORTABLE AND THERE WAS A SMALL POOL/BIG SPA GREAT TO COOL OFF WITH AND AMAZING DRINKS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WOULD GO BACK AGAIN GREAT EXPERIENCE!! It is a great place, Alexis and team were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was the best, the views spectacular. Alexi, arranged a taxi diver that will pick you up from the hotel and he made reservations for us to very nice restaurants. I highly recommend Ano Syros. The property is new and very well kept. I recommend the executive room. The only note that I would like to make is that due to the location, it does have multiple steps to get to the room which was not a problem for us. Alexi and team helped with the luggage transfer.

Excellent hotel. Alexis an his staff were extremely helpul, both prior and during our stay. The weather was extremely hot during our stay so the dip pool was extremely welcome. Breakfast was top notch and the room comfortable with extremely good air con. The only small negative is that the hotel (and Anos Syros in general) is on a steep hill so would be difficult for less mobile people

Where do I start? I needed a break from a hectic life in Sydney Australia & came to Greece to see family. I needed a total break & after much discussion & a bit of research, I chose Syros, & specifically Wind Tales. What a great decision!! What an amazing experiences, from the first & speaking with the owner, Alexis, to making the reservation, quite last minute I must add, I am so grateful that there was availability, to arranging a taxi to collect me from the port. Alexis is a gentleman who understands what comfort means & does his u**ost to ensure his visitors are relaxed & happy when they are at Wind Tales. It was the best decision I made this year! On arrival, late Monday night, Kostandinos greeted me & explained everything I needed to know at that time. My breakfast, the following morning, was exactly as requested & better. The food throughout my stay was 2nd to none, all of local produce. Then, Ourania, a young woman, also in Alexis' employ, was such a delightful human being. Nothing was too much trouble & both Kostandinos & Ourania were just such great examples of hospitality & service. The rooms are impeccably clean & everything has been thought of to make the stay comfortable & welcoming. A special experience. I can't recommend Wind Tales more highly, & I will definitely return; it was a wonderful experience of local foods. I felt at home & relaxed without feeling intruded upon ... the best holiday ever!! We absolutely loved our stay at Wind Tales and highly recommend this boutique hotel. The staff was so helpful from pick up upon arrival, sitting down to talk about the city and the sights, the amazing breakfasts each morning, to setting up transport for our departure. Staying at this hotel gave us the local feeling of Greece we were craving. The owner, Alexis, was super accommodating and made himself always available! We will definitely be returning all the way from Denver, CO!

Gorgeous views, great breakfast, lovely staff and perfect location in stunning Ano Syros. The owner, Alexis, will tell you everything you need to know about the island (also the things Google or the guide books won’t!), so that you can tailor make your ideal vacation. We absolutely loved it here, hope to come back very soon!

Fabulous stay at this lovely boutique B&B at the top of the medieval Ano Syros with stunning views down to the neo-classical port and town of Ermoupoli. Alexis the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. He and his team could not do enough and he is justifiably proud of his hotel and heritage. We were served the best fresh Greek breakfasts we had during our trip to the Cyclades with organic products from Alexis’s family farm. Best cup of tea too served in fine bone china! Alexis recommended the best bars and restaurants in Ano Syros and the town and his recommendations were spot on. The rooms are deliciously quirky built into the hillside with one wall of natural rock. Beautiful comfy bed with top class bedding and fluffy towels. Definitely the place to stay in Ano Syros

We returned to Windtales after 7 years and it was a joy! We didn't think there could be any improvements but we found a plunge pool / jacuzzi with the same spectacular views to the Agean and lots of extra touches like the coffee machine and luxury toiletries.. We were treated like VIPs by Alexis and loved all the tips about places to visit and eat - thank you for making our stay very special..

An absolutely amazing hidden gem . Everything about our stay has been first class. Thank you to the Wind Tales team, you were all so helpful with nothing too much trouble . We don’t want to leave our flight room tomorrow with its huge private balcony and will make sure we return xx
