Tamworth Central

A good standard clean and tidy stay. Nice room with ample space, you get what you pay for. Perfect for staying nearby to Drayton Manor. Beefeater right next door which is very handy. Hotel also phoned me after we left to say we had left something behind which was helpful as we went back to retrieve it. Only thing is I was phoning everyday for a week before our stay to ask for two travel cots as apposed to one. I couldn’t amend this online and I could not get through to speak to anyone from the hotel for love nor money.

Spent a few nights here for a business trip. Rooms are a little dated and could do with sockets either side of the bed. Service is excellent in both the hotel and the resteraunt. Olaf in particular was extremely helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay again.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel and we had a great stay from start to finish. We arrived around 8pm with 2 kids that were showing signs of being tried from our journey. The reception staff kept them entertained while checking in by making up little games which was lovely. The reason for our stay was a trip to Drayton Manor and the hotel is perfectly located 5 minutes away. Plenty of parking spaces and even a couple of charging ports. Breakfast we couldn't complain about which was in the beefeater next door and even though they were really busy they kept everything topped up and were on the ball. Plenty of choice as well! Rooms don't have any air conditioning but they do come with a fan and the windows open to let in a breeze. There is a bit of traffic noise but this didn't bother us. They are a little tired and could do with a bit of a revamp but they were nice and comfy. Would we back, yes definitely

We had a wonderful stay at Tamworth Central over the bank holiday weekend. The experience was made even better by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Jen and Paige were especially lovely, always greeting us with warm smiles and making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was perfect for our getaway, with comfortable beds that ensured we were well-rested for our daily adventures. A huge thank you to Jen, Paige, and the entire Premier Inn Tamworth team for a memorable stay. We will definitely be returning!

Just had an awesome stay at Tamworth Central! From the moment we walked in, the staff were super warm and welcoming. Their customer service is fantastic. The hotel's location was perfect. The rooms, though a bit tired and in need of a refresh, were still clean, comfy, and warm. The bed was amazing – I had one of the best sleeps ever. The housekeeping staff were great, and the guy who checked us in was fantastic. He was really friendly and asked about our plans while we were in the area, which was a nice touch. Breakfast at the pub next door was lovely. The all you can eat buffet was delicious. It’s a bummer that biscuits weren't in the room, but everything else was spot on. Overall, very happy with this hotel, and I’ll for sure be coming back. Huge thanks to the team at Tamworth Central for making our stay so enjoyable.

Too expensive for what quality you get. As a frequent guest of Premier Inn, I have always appreciated the consistent quality and comfort that the brand is known for. Unfortunately, my recent stay did not live up to these high standards. The room felt outdated and in need of refurbishment, lacking the modern amenities and fresh feel that I have come to expect from Premier Inn. It was a noticeable departure from the usual excellence, and I hope that a refurbishment is on the horizon to restore the property to its renowned quality.

Went to stay for my son’s birthday as we went to Drayton Manor. Hotel is in an excellent location with a very good restaurant beside it and just a short walk to Ventura Shopping Retail Park. Also about a 10-15 minute walk to the park and tennis courts.

Staff friendly and helpful, room was clean and functional. Arrived to queue of 6 in front of us so half an hour to wait to check in. Booked an accessible room but was not expecting such a long walk from reception and door to corridor difficult with wheelchair so automatic door would be helpful. Had to manoeuvre wheelchair past cleaning trollies the next morning so again an accessible room being closer to reception would be advantageous.
