Akumal Natura Glamping

It was great! The tents were really comfy and it was awesome being in the nature. We saw some wild animals, which was cool and the food there was really tasty! They do so much for the wildlife - we can difinitly recommend it!

Excelente glamping enmedio de la naturaleza, limpio, ordenado y para disfrutar de una tranquilidad absoluta. Mala suerte, las obras del tren que dificultan el contacto con el entorno. Cenotes propios en el hotel abiertos 24hrs y hay mucha fauna... Una familia de monos, nos acompañó durante horas en el recinto del hotel. El restaurante está muy bien, cenamos y desayunamos allí, todo perfecto.

We visited in October 2023. Myself, My wife and our two sons aged 9 and 4. It was by far the best thing we did in our 2 weeks in Mexico. Our guide Cesar was outstanding. The whole place is out of this world. Nestled in the middle of a thick jungle. Please check it out for yourselves!

Some places that are set up like this cute place are just a small private zoo and not a rescue at all. And although we did not see animals being released after rehibilitatiin, we heard the successes and failures. We could also see the physical anomalies that caused the animals to be rescued in the first place. We really enjoyed interacting with the animals and learning a bit about their species. A very nice place to see while in the area

We really enjoyed learning about what the nature reserve does for the animals & the environment. We hope others tske the upportunity, rdpecially thise that need to hear about & see what happens when you try to domesticate wild animsls. The true rescue aspect of it is also amaxing. The cenote was brearhtaking! Take the chance to change in the banyo if you want privacy ;). Also, note 2 banyos, one at start/end & one in middle of tour. Bring water, walking shoes, bug repellant, bathing suit, sunscreen, hat, msybe a microfibre towel for after cenote. Pics don’t do it justice!

We booked on the rescue tour with Cesar to see the animals rescue and rehabilitation deep in the jungle. This trip over exceeded our expectations. Cesar, our guide had the most incredible relationship with the animals and was an absolutely fantastic host. He drove us into the jungle and told us all about the animals, where they had (unfortunately) come from and the process of rehabilitation if the animals were able to be reintegrated back into the wild. It was very educational and very moving and we learnt so much. The day ended with a visit to their private cenote which was just beautiful. We cannot thank Cesar enough for the tour but also the rescue centre for working hard to give the animals a better quality of life. We would highly recommend.

Delicious coconut shrimp among other dishes was had by our group of 14. Lovely backdrop, the tropical jungle. Excellent explanations of the food types and various dishes. Absolutely recommended. The walk to the Cenote - a real plus. Thanks to the gracious hosts!

Exceeded all my expectations in every way. Certainly was the best choice of place to stay for my first few day of my 35 day stay in Mexico. Glamp tent was spacious and the bed was comfortable, it has a private bathroom with a flushing toilet and a shower, even though not heated, it still maintains an average temp above 26° Staff are super friendly and helpful And were very accommodating There is a bar and a restaurant on site. A small menu but everything I ate was delicious and cooked well Overall it was a pleasure being there. It is also has a animal rescue centre which I highly recommend doing 👌🏼. All money goes towards the funding of the sanctuary so it's a must.

Nestled in the jungle of Akumal is a glamping experience everyone should experience at least once. This was not only a beautiful, almost spiritual stay, but you’ll also feel good knowing that the money they make goes to the animal sanctuary which rehabs injured or orphaned animals back into the wild. They also are repopulating the endangered melipona bee. The beds are comfy, the food is nothing short of 5 star quality, the honey is the best I’ve tasted, the cenote is breathtaking. What more could you ask for?
