Unfortunately, I happened to encounter several issues during my visit from 25th April to 28th April at Taj Holiday Village, Goa. Firstly, upon checking into my room, I found that the cleanliness standards were not up to par. The ceiling fan & Jacuzzi in particular were not properly cleaned, which was disappointing given the high standards I expected from a property of Taj's reputation. I contacted the duty ***ager, and subsequently, the housekeeping supervisor acknowledged the oversight, but this lapse affected my initial impression of the room. Additionally, I had a distressing experience at your restaurant. The restaurant team recommended the prawn peri peri & Butter chicken for lunch without informing me of potential allergens. Regrettably, I suffered an allergic reaction after consuming the dishes, which I feel were not fresh & hygienic, resulting in severe rashes and vomiting. This incident significantly impacted my ability to enjoy the remainder of my stay. They should enhance training for staff members to ensure that guests are properly informed about menu items and potential allergens. Furthermore, reinforcing thorough cleanliness protocols in guest rooms, especially for simple amenities like the ceiling fan & Jacuzzi, would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
