What a fantastic boutique hotel annexed to the stunning Rosalli hotel. Staff were superb, the rooms exceptional and more importantly "no black mould around the shower or sink". Lovely large thick soft towels which does make a difference. The breakfast was brilliant and the coffee delicious. We are staying there again on a regular basis as it was that good.

1. Mal in Malta. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Schönes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, sehr nette zuvorkommende Angestellte. Die Lage ist eher für Gäste die gut zu Fuss sind.

位置在老城中心，出行方便，房間也不錯。唯一覺得麻煩的是它與不遠處的一家酒店是關聯酒店，而入住時要跑到那一家酒店去登記，然後再回到這家酒店入住，有點不方便。

Rất là tốt cho 1 kỳ nghỉ lý tưởng về mùa hè . 1 hòn đáo đẹp và không khí trong lành

酒店在瓦萊塔的市中心，服務非常好，只是房間比較小，樓下更是美食一條街，生活机能好，但是晩上稍嫌吵雜

酒店服務超乎預料，樓下米其林餐廳，而且價格公道。

Мы приехали в отель во время выставки Sigma2024 и взяли единственный доступный номер. С нами был ребенок (1год). Номер в который мы зашли был без окон (не было никакой информации об этом), мы попросили тут же поменять на номер с окном. Нас привели в другой номер (с окном внутрь отеля на стену) и сказали что мы можем остаться в нем на ночь , а завтра нас переселят в нормальный номер с полноценным окном. В этом номере были две спальни и две ванные комнаты , мы согласились. С нами попрощались и мы начали раскладывать свои вещи и собираться ко сну . Через 15 минут приходит тот же человек и говорит что вторую комнату надо закрыть , так как у нас забронирован номер однокомнатный . Честно , мы были в шоке , это было настолько непрофессионально и некорректно, мы почувствовали себя очень неловко. Нет чтобы предложить доплатить за вторую комнату, или сказать об этом заранее , он тупо начал выносить от туда наши вещи мы так и стояли в шоке . Муж спросил - а сколько надо доплатить если мы хотим его оставить ? Нам ответили - из головы я не знаю, звоните на ресепшен и ушел . Звоним на ресепшен , телефон не работает очень неприятно! Утром спрашиваем куда нас переселят из этой каморки , в ответ узнаем что свободных номеров нашей категории с окном нет и нам могут предложить номер за 100€ плюсом за ночь с балконом . Ок, мы соглашаемся . Номер был хороший , не считая что в нем были муравьи и с каждым днём их становилось все больше. Номер оснащен хорошо. Есть кофеварка , питьевая вода, чай, необходимые средства гигиены. В мини баре только 1 вино. Интересно что на завтраке а ля карте только 1 блюдо (яйца)+ континентальный завтрак и напитки входят в стоимость , все остальное за отдельную плату. Расположение отеля отличное. Рядом много кафе, ресторанов, фуд корт, магазинчики и тд . Все достопримечательности рядом. Звукоизоляция нормальная, с улицы не было слышно ни звука. Только звуки внутри отеля. Выезжали из отеля рано утром и попросили сделать ланч боксы. Было очень вкусно , спасибо!

We stayed for 3 nights at St John’s. We were very early for check in but that was no problem. We were made to feel very welcome and offered a glass of fizz and a chat with Richard who was very helpful explaining the local sites and attractions. Jennifer was on reception who was equally welcoming and very helpful. The room was on the top floor at the rear of the building. Very quiet and clean. Breakfast was at the main hotel a couple of doors down. Really lovely continental breakfast with lots of extras and options to have a cooked breakfast at extra cost. Food was fresh and lots of choice. Service was excellent. The location was fantastic. Central to all the sites and in walking distance of most things. Valletta is such a beautiful city. We really enjoyed our mini break. A few things to mention that could be improved on. The bed was very hard and we didn’t sleep as well as we should have. Also, we would expect bottled water to be supplied daily in the mini fridge but instead we got a jug of water. Which we didn’t drink. When we asked for bottled water at reception this wasn’t an issue and we were given some. But it would be much better just to supply them daily on the room clean. Overall a very positive experience excellent service and staff.

We have just come back from a nine night stay at this centrally located hotel. You check in and have your breakfast at the five star sister hotel Rosselli Ax Privilage a couple of doors down. There are many more positives than negatives: - the location is fantastic and so convenient to get anywhere in this amazing city from here. - all the staff we encountered were lovely - polite and friendly. - a special shout out to Katho and the breakfast team - they made our stay very special - they were all brilliant - a very big thank you to them. - breakfast was good and varied with plenty of choice. - being so central noise is potentially a problem - especially live music on a weekend - didn’t bother us to much but I could imagine in summer if you don’t want to close your windows or doors it would be. - the room was spacious and lovely. It was cleaned very well by housekeeping but had a couple of maintenance issues - leaking shower and light switch not working. - also very limited storage - two small drawers for nine nights is not enough. That said great staff and brilliant location.

We stayed at this fab hotel during August 2025 for 4 nights and 5 days and I must say that it was a superb choice. Hotel: The hotel is located centrally on merchant street Valletta and it is 5-10 mins away from most of the attractions. For example at one end of this street you will find the bus station , the upper Baraka gardens , at johns cathedral which is couple of streets away, Valletta beach which is again 10-15 mins walk away etc. As soon as you step out of this hotel it has rows of eateries and the famous steps to eat at on st Julian’s and st Lucas streets. The hotel has two hotels couple of doors away -St johns hotel is 4* and their other hotels couple doors away is Roselli 5* . When you check in or need the reception it is based not in St John’s but in Roselli. They offer welcome drinks on arrival and they hold your bags for you to start your adventure without the need for checking in straight away. Our room was very spacious and luxurious- the room was not what I was expecting. It did over exceed my expectations in terms of design , cleanliness and comfort. The room has iron, hair dryer , mini fridge , daily complimentary water , soaps, cotton pads and other toiletries. The WiFi worked in the hotel really well! Aircon was good , but annoyingly during the night it got to a certain temp and would switch off - this caused me to get too hot and have disrupted nights sleep! Staff: Our experience would not have been superb if it was not for the staff. A special mention to : Umair- An absolute gem who was of a very happy disposition and ensured our water was topped up and that he gave the highest , courteous service. Naman- this man went up and beyond to make sure our experience of Valletta was the best. He made a few calls for us when we couldn’t get booking for a beach day and we were very grateful for his recommendation. Dahy - He was so attentive , listened to what we needed and ensured we got what we asked for! Amal - super courteous and informative . He always gave us suggestions and advice of the highest calibre. The service of all staff we encountered was beyond anything I have experienced in other places. On observation with all walks of life their service was the highest for everyone that walked through the door! (Please give them a raise and a special recognition for the job they do!!) Sightseeing The hotel is centrally located as mentioned above most attractions could be seen by walking to them. The hotel provides you with a basic map which is very helpful and Amal ensured he mapped out all the points of interest to us on this map which was easy to follow. Transport: We used a taxi from the airport that dropped us at the end of the road and we had to take our suit cases to the door. The taxi could not go beyond a point . We got the talijia bus card which gave use 12 journeys for 19 euros - this worked out for us which meant we could see other areas of the island. We did a lot of exploring in just the 4 days we were

This is a top class boutique hotel. We had the family suite which was ideal for two people - loads of space. The furnishings are of the very highest quality and the room was spotlessly clean. What makes this hotel stand out is the quality of service. Staff remember you by name and more impressively remember simple preferences eg at breakfast. Not cheap but like many thinks in life you get what you pay for. Highly recommended for a high class stay right in the middle of Valletta with everything just a shirt walk away.

The St. John is a quaint boutique hotel in a perfect location. Despite being located on a lively street with several restaurants and bars, the rooms are very quitet. The rooms are very well appointed with nice amenities, the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A lovely breakfast is served in the Grain restaurant at the Rosselli sister property.

Absolutely fantastic,nothing was too much trouble.Brilliant location, excellent breakfast probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in.Very highly recommended we'll definitely be back
