Beautiful location and facility! Everywhere you look, you find a new, pretty detail. Each room was very clean and inviting. We got married here and so glad we did! This place is made for weddings! Very romantic and our guests loved it!

Sure, some hotels hit the spot in terms of modern facilities and standards of finish, but very few offer such unique character by the bucket load as the Palazzo Suriano. In many respects it feels like stepping back to a bygone age, in particular the communal areas. The library for one is an idyllic treasure trove where you could easily while away an entire evening. The room we got was lovely and spacious, with a large comfy bed guaranteeing a great night's sleep. As the property was typically sited for the Amalfi coast i.e., steep hills front and back, you won't suffer from traffic noise here. That said, expect a real trek to the small parking spaces from the top of the wondrous gardens (another delight) but the staff gave us a lift to the front door of the hotel. The staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Oh, and the breakfasts were delightful with much of the offerings homemade. Our experience at The Palazzo will not be forgotten.

Emaculately decorated and the grounds surrounding the Inn are beautiful. The Church bells tolling add to thebgraceful and peaceful stay.

This hotel was an out of this world incredible magical experience. Advise everyone to stay here. It would never disappoint. Clean, majestic yet welcoming and quaint. Got engaged here. Will be planning other family members and friends trips to this hotel for them. Beat the crowds, tourists, and noise and please don’t stay in Positano or Capri. Stay in Vietri Sul Mare where actual Italians come to stay in and go to the beach during summer. - views of sea (recommend booking room with balcony if in budget) -beach right underneath hotel (5 minute walk or less) -restaurants with sea views (5 -10 minute walk or less) -best staff you could hope for -air conditioned rooms -very spacious (depending on which room) - homemade breakfast included every morning Cannot thank enough Carlo, Virginia, Giovanni, and Roberto. A rare pleasure to have found such a wonderful hotel and spent few days in paradise: stunning seaview location, tastefully decorated rooms with historic interiors, the city with a variety of excellent restaurants in walking distance, a perfect service team. Carlo, Roberto, Virginia & Co. leave no wishes unattended. Best breakfast to start the day on the terrace with homemade delights...beautiful citrus gardens with flowers in all colours to spend quiet hours if you wish...a light breeze from the sea.....dinner on request. A small and quiet oasis : entering the gardens you can leave behind the masses of the overtouristed amalfi coast. We hope to be back soon!

Great place to stay. Better to go in a small car. The place is very nice and well decorated. The attention of all staff is very kind. Beautiful views. A good place to use as a base To visit other cities in the Amalfi coast. Close to Vietri Sul mare with nice views and restaurants. Highly recommended

You never really know until you show up and holy moly, we hit the jackpot! Palazzo Suriano is one of the most magical spaces I have ever had the pleasure of spending time in my life. The town of Vietri sul Mare to start is awesome, less tourists than the rest of the coast and lot's of fun places to visit to keep you occupied. The Palazzo is unreal! Our room (Tritone) was amazing! It was spacious and the bathroom was so nice! Breakfast every morning was something to look forward to with the beautiful Virginia offering up fresh baked goodies, juice, and a cappuccino rivaling the best! Local olives and meats were great but the baked goods and jams we're made from fruit grown on the property. It might sound like I'm making this up but it's for real... The Palazzo is on a steep road so you will have to walk a bunch to get around but it will help you keep the pounds off from vacation eating. Robert picked us up with the cool little Suzuki van and dropped us off to Solerno at the bus station. Pro tip: don't bother trying to take the bus to neighboring towns, it's a disaster. Rent scooters! The roads are steep and winding but the pace is slow and it's the best way to get around.

Palazzo Suriano was the first and most impressionable of our stays along the Amalfi Coast. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. We had a stunning view from the terrace of both the sea and town of Vietri sul Mare. Robert helped us to our room upon arrival and Carlo had us check in once we were settled, much appreciated after a long day of travel. Carlo and his wife recommended the restaurant, "Fish", located at the top of the hill for our first dinner and we enjoyed a delicious meal overlooking the sea. Each morning, we were treated to breakfasts lovingly prepared by Virginia. Her homemade jam and tarts (made from fruits from their gardens) were exquisite. The buildings and gardens of Palazzo Suriano were meticulously cared for creating a magical oasis in Vietri sul Mare. We are looking forward to returning someday!

We stayed at the palazzo for a week and the experience was unique ! The location is perfect! The view is stunning! The gardens are amazing! The service is superb! The palazzo it self is incredible! No need to say we’ll be back again soon !

Let me join the chorus of praise for this charismatic and authentic hotel, close to some of the world's best ceramics shopping, and just steps from the beach and the ferry that stops along the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast was a standout with housemade yogurt, freshly baked pastries and preserves made with the lemons, oranges and figs from the garden. Heaven!

Paulo and his family were the most amazing hosts. This was the highlight of our honeymoon. The breakfasts, the library, and the exclusive room were the absolutely highlights - Plus the sound of the waves hitting the beach on Vietri. It’s a quiet town and few tourists, which made it very peaceful. Re Maui is nearby and an amazing Michelin restaurant. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you. God bless you through the pandemic. The Palazzo Suriano Heritage Hotel is a diamond in the rough among hotels and among boutique hotels in general. The location, the building, the rooms (faves are living room and breakfast area/balcony), the service, the garden (THE GARDEN) and most importantly the staff. They offer alot of outsourced services like hiking, private tours, pamphlets on local services and goings ons etc etc. They also sell amazing treats and wines (per request) that you can enjoy in their beautiful garden, which i did 5 days out of the 7 we were there. The beach and many restaurants are just a 5 min walk downhill (Google map will tell you there is no path but once you exit the hotel make a left and go all the way down, you cant miss it). A special thank you to the staff: Carlo who was just a text away, especially when I ask for a bottle of wine to enjoy at the garden. His wife Deborah and brother Camillo who helps him keep the place in tip top shape. Roberto who gave us a nice little transport in their cute little van and helped answer alot of our questions (Amalfi Coast virgins we were lol). Regina who is our breakfast chef, amazing breakfast rivaled only by her smile and friendly personality. If we didnt have a full day each day, I would have had breakfast til lunchtime lol. And last but not least Maria Rosaria who kept our room clean, tidy and well stocked with clean towels. Thank you to you all.

My wife and I just had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel. From the pickup at the ferry dock and drive up to the hotel (provided by the folks there) to the beautiful room, gardens, views, and advice, everything was wonderful and highly recommend getting off the regular tourist path to see what real Amalfi coast probably used to be like. Felt like a Grand Tour
