A bit dated, but generally a good hotel with clean and comfortable rooms.
Our main grievance was the on-site restaurant where food was poor and the prices extortionate. The “chefs salad” could have been prepared by anyone, and was just a random assortment of meats and salad piled on top of each other. A 22oz draught lager was $14. Despite not mentioning this anywhere, a 15% gratuity is automatically added, and then they also ask for a tip.
We would not return to this hotel based on our experiences at the restaurant.

I loved this more stay more than i anticipated. The bed is soooo comfortable I didn’t wanna leave , it is sooooo clean I was surprised as i assumed it would be more like a bed and breakfast kind of quick in and out kinda stay, furniture well kept, and clean. I don’t think as a lady travelling alone though I’d be okay staying more than 2 nights just my take for security reasons, however but it was a great stay and close to the airport. There is also free airport shuttle pick up and drop off so that was really good.
I highly recommend Talking Stick for your stay. All the staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The check in progress was very quick. I highly recommend the scenic rooms so you have a good view of the pool rather than the parking lot. The location is great for amenities too, we never drove more than 10 minutes for anything we needed. We'll be staying again in the future.

My husband and I had a great stay. Rooms are very clean. They check on you when you check in and get in your room to make sure you are satisfied with your room. The only down fall we didn't like is you have to pay for parking 😒. But other then that we had a great time anyways.
Hotel was great, reasonable central location to big sightseeing areas. Fitness centre was ok.
But the biggest downfall here for this hotel was the thin walls. We could hear voices/TVs at all hours (particularly mornings as lots of people were heading out early for tours). Could be just a joint room problem? Otherwise a very nice stay.

ГГостьLocation: Quite nearby the highway, convenient to stay for a night. About 1 hr drive to Grand Canyon.
Cleanliness: Good.
Service: Great, the front desk girl is very nice to help, advise nearby stores, how to use the facilities.
Facilities: Full, with swiming pool is a plus for kids.
Pretty a nice stay, would recommend for new stays.
ГГостьAmazing Stay! Housekeeper Jacob is super nice. Clean room and fair enough breakfast included. Good coffee. Highly recommended if you’re gonna stay in this neighborhood in Phoenix.
ГГостьFirst, the positive:
1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful.
2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging.
3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened.
5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly.
6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room.
7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity.
Now, the negative:
1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2” inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno.
3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent.
4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up.
Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.
ГГостьThe staff at this particular location over the last five years has been the nicest most giving generous employees I've ever encountered among hospitality staff... when I've had problems they've gone above and beyond to help me three different individuals in three different problems three different times you know I've seen a couple of staff come and go and the new staff is just as nice as the old staff so I'm thinking that it has to break down to the owner. it's an older building so it's not the Brits but it's very clean very convenient and they offer as much or more than places that are twice as much
ГГостьMy tv was not entering channels, or using guide properly. So went to desk to discuss, thought most likely batteries were weak. She called the lame weak maintenance person. He looked at tv, said it was the gadget at bottom and turned the channels with remote 6” away. I laughed I want to be able to change channels in bed, LIKE AT HOME!! Told him to bring me a functional tv. Didn’t!!!
Told desk clerks, I need a functioning tv , bring one from another room. She said I don’t know which room? I said any room not in use and has a tv that DOES WORK!!! I need a refund
