For an older hotel the room was nice and clean. Two free bottles of water. For the price it was a good place to stay. The only thing that was bad was the low water pressure in the shower and no hair dryer. Breakfast was good.

We stayed here Friday and Saturday night. We booked a romantic stay cation about 30 mins from our house. The room was smaller than we expected but the beds were pretty comfortable. The worst part about the room was the thermostat. I felt that it was not easy to control. We had the heat on and it would still turn on the ac. Our room did not hold in heat very well. The best part about the hotel room was the bathroom. The shower was huge with a seat. There were two mirrors with lights and Bluetooth you could pair to your phone to play music. We did not try it but we both thought that it was a cool feature. Unlike most hotels, the fitness center had cables and fancy workout bikes. The sauna was very relaxing. We did not go in the pool or hot tub because I did have to work for a couple hours on Saturday and we got in late on Friday. We relaxed in our hotel room after a gym and sauna session. After 4 PM on Friday and Saturday, it is hard to find parking that is close to the door. We had to park in the back far away from the entrance. My boyfriend was very annoyed by this and rated the hotel a two star because of it lol. I hope to try the pool and hot tub next time we go to this hotel. I also would like to try a pool view room maybe those are nicer. We will have to try the restaurant/bar next time too. Maybe if we come a weekday the parking situation will be better. Overall it was a pretty nice stay. I hope they update their thermostats to something nicer sooner than later.

The complimentary breakfast was another highlight of my stay. With a nice variety of options, from fresh fruit to hot items like eggs and waffles, it was a great way to start the day before heading out. The shuttle service to and from the airport was prompt and efficient, making my travel logistics a breeze. The drivers were courteous and made sure I arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare. Overall, my stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Romulus Detroit Metro Airport was nothing short of excellent. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities made it an ideal choice for anyone traveling through the Detroit Metro Airport area. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on future trips!

Husband and I stayed here for one night and we enjoyed the cleanliness of the room. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of foods including eggs, meat, cereal, breads, waffles, juices…etc! They had a pool in which we did not check out but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

設施：這個是扣分比較嚴重的，房間裏持續可以聽到空調風機都聲音，對於睡眠比較輕的來説，差評。 但比較好的是他家的接駁車班次多，一共三輛，基本不用等。 環境：樓下泳池開到9點，下面小朋友玩的很開心，但對於衹想好好休息的人來説，是必須要等到9點以後。這個酒店迴廊設計很好，但是如果遇到這種情況，就很糟糕。 服務：早飯也一般。種類不多，麪包硬的啊哈哈哈，我還以為這是法棍

Staffs are kind and friendly. It is not so bad for the sorrt stay. There are some restaurants nearby the hotel. The free shuttle is convenient. But the hotel is old and the interior is dark.

Stayed just off peak season so had to check in at the office next door. Very cheerful receptionist who gave brilliant advice! View from property spectacular. Room price was low probably because of the season - just after Labor Day appears to be a prime time to stay in Mackinaw!
