South Burlington definitely need a car to get to Burlington proper. They do have a shuttle bus though that runs to like ten pm I think. The king bed with bath doesn’t exist , the bathtub is kind of old school. Checking in can be slow (waited in line for a bit). Refrigerators in room but no microwave, one exist in lobby. Gym is ok, indoor swimming pool is nice, gym isn’t 24 hours. Room was ok.

Location was great. Pool are outdoor area were exceptional. The guest rooms are in need of being updated. The staff could have been friendlier. We were charged $25 for checking in an hour before check-in time. Our room was ready so there was zero time/effort for us to check in a little early. Definitely a bad policy.

酒店就在湖的邊上。挺市中心的。早餐比較簡單，因為去的時候還在裝修。早餐衹在一個小的房間裏，裏面座位有限也比較一般。不過下午在大堂有個免費下午茶，很簡約的那種。總體還是不錯的。

Probably THE nicest ‘motel’we’ve stayed in as it really is a Motor Lodge type motel - parking around both sides of the building - park near your room - great finishes, clean and large sized room. Very comfortable! Close to good restaurants.

Had a nice little stay. They are doing renovations in there so the stairs are blocked off on the ground floor. I prefer to use the stairs. The computer took forever also and I waited upfront for over 30 minutes to check in. Which also was annoying but other than those 2 things. It was nice. The breakfast is always great and the staff were nice!

KKothaIt's a wonderful place, a preserved building that is very clean, at a very central location in Middlebury. The price was excellent, and the parking was very convenient. We couldn't get the wi-fi to work which was a pain given that only Verizon works here, and we didn't have hotspots. Very friendly staff, both the female receptionist during checkout and the gentleman during checkin, with his excellent recommendations.
But:
Be careful with rooms 126-129, they need a good flight of stairs, which was difficult for us, as we were coming from a big road-trip and had many bags. Perhaps the reception should make this clear during the check-in process, we would be very happy to change rooms, but it was too late. Soundproofing is not the best, but I am not complaining as the building is preserved and they can't do much. Finally, a small complaint is that there is no desk to do some work in the room, forcing us to go to cafes.
All in all, I honestly think this hotel is terrific if you are visiting Middlebury and I would 100% recommend it for a ski trip or a tour of the college.

ГГостьThe hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. The pool was a great way to keep the children entertained, and they even had some pool toys available over the weekend. The Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection—I’m sure there’s a fantastic cook on staff. Coffee and tea are complimentary in reception and always in a clean area.
The one-bedroom king suite had a lovely kitchenette, which was perfect for cooking up a storm. The location was great, just a short walk to a shopping centre, Target, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Chipotle and a few other shops. It’s also a short drive to town, and there’s plenty of parking available.
The room is usually cleaned upon request, but once you ask, it’s done.
One thing that could have been improved was the sofa bed. It was quite uncomfortable, and since we booked the room for a family of four, it would have been lovely if the bed had been made for us on the first night. Unfortunately, we noticed some reddish-brown stains on the mattress, which were quite unsightly and could have been blood or some kind of spillage.

ГГостьWhen we arrived, the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. We were told we could eat at the restaurant right off the lobby so we planned to eat dinner there. When we arrived at the restaurant 20 mins later, they told us we could not eat there unless we had made prior reservations due to a wedding they had next door. The lady told us “we have to prioritize the wedding of 200 people”. I asked where we should eat and the lady shrugged. One of the waiters, who was very kind apologized and recommended the bar . They had some dishes from their restaurant menu. We were pretty irritated because we were both exhausted and the lady was very rude to us. We watched 20+ people get turned away from eating dinner due to this wedding. I completely understand that they need to focus on a wedding and the food for the wedding, however we should’ve been told about this when we arrived that the restaurant wasn’t available unless we had already made a reservation. The resort is very nice and there was a lot of fun things you can do there, but some of the staff were quite unkind.

ГГостьWhile I was just passing through on a working trip and only stayed overnight, I can see that this is a lovely place for families and friends to relax in nature. The cabin that I stayed in was immaculate and very comfortable! While I didn’t get to avail myself of any of the amenities, I know I would very much have appreciated them had I been able to stay longer - the laundry cabin, the pool, tether ball and large shaded sandbox, hammock in the shade next to the river, and fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. There doesn’t seem to be a lot going on in the area, but this is such a nice spot to just kick back and relax and get away.

ГГостьConcierge didn't know how to use TV remote; we both struggled with the TV/remote in the lobby until we got the channel I was seeking.
Room was very attractive, figured out on my own how to get heat in room and what Wifi password was (no verbal or written instructions provided).
Bed very comfortable, very nice to have refrigerator/freezer, microwave in room.
Only significantly negative aspect was shower: it was STRONG flow and I found no way to make water force more gentle. Water drained out of tub slower than projected out of shower head, so tub quickly retained water and I ended up standing in soapy water entire time in shower.

ГГостьVery nice place and location excellent. When I first checked in, I was underwhelmed by the lack of help from the girl at reception. I asked her if there were any pumpkin patches locally and she told me to Google it. Another reception lady later gave me a whole list of local activities without even asking. The whip was lovely but the online menu is not the same as the one in the restaurant. There is no cheese board available for example. Parking was tough at times. Other than that the place was very nice and staff were lovely.

ГГостьThe fire pjt was excellent at night for a quiet wind down. The room could probably be cleaner or maintained better as the pipe in the room are quite obvious and can see the holes near the edge of all walls inside the guest room. but appreciate it as the hotel is located at a country side.
My personal white bath towel was taken away by the housekeeping team because it looked similar to the hotel's towel. luckily it was found right before we check out. Thanks to the concierge and housekeeping team.

The breakfast was great with many options and again the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean and the kids had fun. I would 100% stay at this hotel again and I recommend it to others. Their service, care, friendliness and customer service should be a benchmark to all hotel and customer service representatives
