Yes, I was able to check in early, which was really helpful. The room was spotless, and there were tea, coffee, and even a biscuit — very impressed. I went to the gym, which was well equipped, even with dumbbells up to 20kg and a bench. The swimming pool and sauna were perfect after my session, and the showers were great quality and very clean. They even had a spinner to dry swimwear. I went for a meal in the restaurant — 10 out of 10. Amazing selection and served straight away. I will definitely be back; for the price, it’s hard to beat. Incredible location as well.

Наш номер был на первом этаже, поэтому у нас был прямой доступ из номера наружу, к озеру, и это было очень красиво. Но держите двери закрытыми всегда после использования, так как он находится недалеко от озера и на первом этаже. Мы видели змею (не ядовитую) в траве за пределами номера рано утром. Еда и напитки в ресторане были хорошими, хотя и немного дорогими. Вид из ресторана во время завтрака утром был прекрасным. Вы можете принести купальники, если хотите воспользоваться горячим источником в отеле. Мы не смогли воспользоваться, но он выглядел хорошо. Возле отеля есть кооператив. The hotel provided a very pleasant stay, with staff who were consistently helpful and courteous. Access to the high street is more convenient by car, as walking with a child may not be practical. Ample parking is available, and housekeeping services are provided daily. The breakfast offering was good, with a wide selection for non-vegetarian guests. However, vegetarian options were limited. Guests have complimentary access to the swimming pool and fitness center, which is a valuable amenity. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to guests who are comfortable with a 30–40 minute walk to the high street or plan to travel by car. KFC is imprint of hotel Arnold rental is 7 min walk. Shopping center 20- 30 mins

房間很乾凈，比較舒適，就是沒有空調，有時候會有些熱。不同房間温感不一樣，可以問下前台。但是住起來沒什麼問題。

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star. Top range 3 star at best. The room was clean. It was advertised as a king sized bed, however putting 2 single beds together is very misleading. The Italian restaurant, the staff are nice but the service is very very slow. Took me an hour to get food. The location is ideal. The sports centre is good and spacious. The pool is good fun. The gym needs a complete modernisation program. Not enough equipment and in a very small room. The sports centre could utiltse space more effectively and have a state of the art gym in the other bigger rooms. It would be used well, however this is sadly not the case. I will return and use this hotel in the future. The price is not cheep and if your expecting Hilton quality then this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel is looking and feeling very tired and dated and in serious need of upgrading.  They’re charging 2025 prices for 1980 standard services.  They clearly cater for bus tours and large parties which are not there to appreciate where they are and their surroundings.  There was serious problem with running hot water in the room as well as in the showers in the spa.  I overheard many guests complaining about no hot water in their rooms at reception.   Breakfast was very disappointing, they offer a continental selection of one type of cold meat and one type of sliced cheese with pan loaf bread!  Fort William boasts artisan bakery’s so no excuse there.  During breakfast very loud 80s movie themed music is blaring, the dining room is so big there’s practically a speaker above every second table.  When asked to turn it down we were met with a standard reply, “I was just asked to turn it up”. Totally unbelievable.  Due to the large parties tables are not cleared fast enough nor cleaned, we had to clean and set our own table before we could eat and this is where we were directed to sit. Waiting staff are clearly not trained nor directed appropriately for a hotel boasting a high standard.  We were not encouraged to dine in the hotel at all. The exterior of the building is not only showing signs of disrepair but is also very dirty. They are missing the B in the main signage and is the first thing you see on arrival.   Positives:  the room was clean although all views from most rooms do not look out onto anything nice.  Temperature of the pool, steam room and jacuzzi excellent.  The lounge bar appeared to have the best atmosphere and felt like a highland hotel. Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely not!   Would I stay there again? Definitely not!
