The scenery is wonderful!
Original Text
The Sagami River, which flows to the west of the local Sagamihara City, and Lake Yamanaka of the Mt. Fuji system, turns around the north side of the Tanzawa system and pours into Sagami Bay. It is often called the "Katsura River" in Yamanashi Prefecture upstream and the "Mairi River" near the estuary. You can enjoy the wonderful scenery of the Tanzawa mountains from many points along the river and refresh yourself. Near the middle-stream Sagamihara-Atsugi-shi border, the embankment was on the verge of breaking due to the attack of Typhoon 19 last fall! I managed to escape flooding, but Showa ... used in the boy baseball tournament.

I went with a friend to see the cherry blossoms and moss cherry blossoms blooming along the Sagami River. I was in telework, so I was able to refresh myself for a change of mood. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and there was not much traffic, so you can spend a relaxing time.
It is a river that runs through Kanagawa Prefecture from Lake Sagami to Shonan Hiratsuka at the top. There are many promenades on some of the riverbanks, so it is suitable for a relaxing walk. The scenery is quite good, such as the cherry blossoms blooming, the large cherry blossoms rising, and the snowy scenery of Mt. Fuji and Tanzawa.
It is a large river that flows to Sagami Bay from Yamanashi Prefecture as a source of water, and it is also a water tank in Kanagawa Prefecture. If you go west on the Tokaido Line, you will leave Chigasaki and cross a long iron bridge in front of Hiratsuka, but the iron bridge says "Mairigawa Bridge". There is also an alias called Mairikawa, and in the railway song, it is sung as "Mairikawa ~ in Sagami, which returns the branch line later."

It's a big river anyway.
Anyway, it's a big river, there is a campsite, the water is clean, and it's perfect for going out. However, be careful when flooding or discharging.
there's also a name for the umairi river.
