Ercolano was once a coastal town - now its 300 meters inland
Not totally destroyed and lost by the eruption of Vesuvius. Preserved in the volcanic muds that enveloped the city.

visite agréable
belle exposition et explications très intéressantes. Ce petit musée est très bien agencé et ça permet de comprendre le lieu avant la visite du site

Sehr eindrücklich
Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass das Boot noch vor wenigen Jahren in Gebrauch war, so gut ist es noch erhalten. Zudem sind darin Fundstücke wie Weidenkörbe mit Fischfanghaken zu sehen.
