Long drive but worth it

This was my second visit to Flaming Gorge, but this time I entered from WY. Everything is immense. The Red Canyon on the south end is beautiful.

Take the scenic path 191 RS to Vernal, UT

A good paved (2-lane) road into Utah. The Gorge is viewable closer to Dutch John, UT. Scenic byway - wild horses, elk or deer sometimes seen.
