A must do !
Really beautiful tranquill place. Highly recommend. The area is lovely and staff amazing. If you like your church history try it out . You'll need a car as a good bit out from city centre.

best abbey we've visited
If you are into ruins, especially amazing ones don't miss this one. easy drive from Kilkenny and the attendant at the visitors center was excellent
