I have visited this museum at least 4 different times and every time it keeps getting better! However, the last one titled “Shiota Chiharu: The Soul Trembles” was quite fascinating. They also had Pixar museum at Tokyo City View at that time and it was interesting! What was interesting is the fact that you get hands of experiences. The art works were amazing and I also visited their sky deck which was for an additional 500 Yen. I would recommend to go there just half an hour to 1 hour before sunset to catch a glimpse of day time, sunset, and night view! Excellent spot for love birds and I highly recommend this place!
Of all the places to enjoy the Tokyo skyline, the Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills wins out for being right in the middle of things. From the outdoor sky deck and the panoramic Tokyo City View you are also just a few steps from a hidden gem of a contemporary art museum. The Mori Art Museum located at the peak of the tower is host to wonderfully curated exhibitions, a number of which have been reviewed on www.projectartlounge.com. From Andy Warhol to Lee Mingwei, you will be surprised by the variety. The curators do a great job of describing the works and english catalogues are available as well. The museum is open late, so you can enjoy a sunset drink from Tokyo City View before taking in a bit of culture. Don't forget to see the "Maman" spider sculpture by Louise Bourgeois on the plaza as you leave Roppongi Hills.
High quality museum with rotating exhibitions that are typically distinctive and well curated. Worth keeping an eye on. One of the few world class places to catch an exhibition in Tokyo.
