Pahalgam Hotel

So here is an honest review of the pahalgam hotel So I went to this hotel in the month of May and the weather was just perfect. When we reached the hotel ,it was drizzling and the weather was chilly and cold, making it perfect for the place. Our rooms were upgraded on our request which is really appreciated and the staff was really courteous and greeted us with a big smile . The heritage rooms are a little old but the deluxe rooms are newly renovated. The view from the hotel is just out of the world. Large snow capped mountains with a picturesque view. The noise of the flowing river was also a treat to the ears. The garden is well maintained and high tea is served from 4 to 6 everyday wherein they serve some snacks ***** with tea and kehwa, the high tea added more joy to the experience . The restaurant buffet for breakfast and dinner was really good and they changed the menu everyday, the variety was good enough and the service was also good. Their majority of the staff is old and have been working there for ***y years but is ready to help and is really kind. Some improvements which can be done like - 1. A way can be added to the nearby river, as one has to go outside the hotel to enter the riverside. 2. Renovate the washrooms a little (no exhaust fan in washroom) 3. Ask their staff to not ask for tips everywhere at the day of check out. Overall ratings - Rooms -3/5 Staff-4/5 Location-5/5 Service-4/5 Food -4/5

Pahalgam hotel is very old prestigious property in the city located in heart of Pahalgam. Beautiful scenic views with lush green lawns. The rooms are cozy and built with wooden structures! Staf is courteous and helpful ! Food is good and tasty!

Old world charm, stunning views, the best food in all of Pahalgam and ever smiling staff. The Pahalgam hotel is the best choice while looking for a hotel. They also have wonderful experiences where you can take walk with the nomadic communities where you can learn about thier life and cuisine which is distinctly different than that of Kashmiris

Hotel Pahalgam is such a warm and beautiful place. We were a family of four adults. We were given two rooms which were interconnected and that made it so convenient as a family as our kids were in the adjoining room. The rooms had a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. The hospitality we received was beyond our expectations and we felt so warm and welcomed there. The food was always a large spread and khawa was excellent. Thank you Hotel Phalgam for the wonderful memories that we take back from this Kashmir holiday. They are also very environment conscious which is much welcomed and appreciated.

The hotel has great staff, right from the day we landed from our car to the time we left in our cab, extremely warm, helpful and treating us like family. It also has a great view, u can see the sky, snow capped mountains and the river flowing from your room. Love the hotel. A special word for the house-keeping and restaurant staff, who were always around to assist my mom, who needs wheelchair support. Not even once they were not around. I loved the place and the food. Best experience in Pahalgam.

Absolutely clean and comfortable stay Best located property with easy access to market as well as totally serene and beautiful views as well as close to visiting different places in and around Pahalgam. My first visit to this property was in 1962 when I was a small boy

On arrival you are enthralled by the amazing surroundings,mountains on all sides and the glacier blue river right outside your window. As I write this I am laying in bed listening to the river. The staff is so hospitable! They warmly greet you, care for you and cater to your every whim as if you were family. I'm traveling solo here and I have felt 100% safe and comfortable with the setting, surroundings and staff. ***y luxurious extras like a pool and sauna and a lawn furnished to maximize relaxation where you can sit and drink in the mystique of Pahalgam Valley.

Brilliant service, simple and sumptuous food. The location is fabulous. It’s various restaurants cafe logg, trout and main restaurant are all fantastic and vegetarian friendly. The staff is respectful and really knowledgeable about the area and its history. Highly recommended for families
